Anyone download the new family guy tapped out like game?

The bad: UI is pretty ugly and slow all-around and there are some super annoying mandatory quests like "spend real money" and "spam your Facebook friends." The character art looks bad during conversation scenes - you can see white outlines around the black ones.

The good: the writing and variety of character jobs. Yeah not very impressed so far but I'll stick with it because the dialogue has made me chuckle more than a few times.

You can ignore it but I get annoyed cause it stays in your task thing sinc its not completed. I have a few task that requires using money and inviting friends to play stuck in that queue...

Well this bloody sucks. It appears my Origin account has been compromised or at least my TSTO account. Asshat spent all my donuts on stupid things and sold off almost all of my buildings. Unless EA has some way of rolling back my account or compensating for the losses (doubtful), I guess I'm done with the game already.

I have read about this happening before. It happened a bit around an update a couple months ago. Apparently when someone opened up their game they got your town instead of theirs and had access to change your town and spend donuts. If you contact EA support I'm pretty sure they can roll you back to before the fuck up. not as sure about the donuts.
Here is a blog I read and this screw up happened to the writer.

Just got through a rather long couple of sessions with their support, and they can't do a rollback, and it may be 7-15 business days before I see any sort of compensation. Guess I'll take a break for a while.

Well, I actually got a pretty quick email from the specialist to which my case was elevated. It turns out that they may actually be able to roll my account back. I suppose it's just not the bottom level CSRs who can't do that. They gave me the choice of either that or having funds restored. I asked if they could roll it back to the specific time that I know my account would have been fine, or how much I'd get back if I chose the latter, so we'll see how that goes. I suppose I could be willing to lose a day.

It's just so irksome that if we assume this was a case of an asinine login mixup bug, that there are people who are so petty that they'd shit up someone else's town just because they're given the opportunity.

Looks like rather than a rollback, the upper level CSR is actually able to just dump all my missing buildings into my inventory for me to replace, after comparing the missing ones against a previous server backup. Not sure about the donuts so I just asked about that.

Edit: Update all worked. It wouldn't let me just update it. Weird.

Have to say I'm pretty impressed with EA's customer support for this game. I'm pretty much back to where I was before the breach of my account with all my buildings back to where I think I had them, but I got to keep the extra money from their having been sold, and also got to keep whatever it was the person bought with my donuts, with 100 donuts as compensation. Ended up with the lawyer, yes guy and Kumiko, though I thought those three would have cost more than 90 donuts. Actually I only ever saw the lawyer while my town was messed up, so maybe the CSR threw the other two in to be nice.

Ah, good to have them now then. A bit of an odd question, but did anyone manage to run Moral Fiber the full 9 times? I was wondering if you got anything special from doing it the maximum amount of times before the deadline.

I didn`t but nothing special was given out for the max, you just got the maximum of 10 graves.

Looks like before you can actually start the Easter event, you have to do a 24hr task first.

No fun.

Super late but you could have stored the building associated with each character which nulls its current task. Then place it again and start the new task.

Oh god the mechanics and drop rates of the eggs for the easter boxes look rage inducing.

Okay, so here's how it works.

-There are 3 color eggs: Pink, Blue, and Gold,

-So far I've only done 1 quest but I got 250 pink eggs for it, and I got about 25 pink and 12 blue wacking all the rabbits in my town

-Visiting a town gets you 4 pink and one blue per tap so you get 12 pink and 3 blue per friend

-redeem 500 eggs for an easter box which has a random price from a list in it

-Gold eggs can only be won in easter boxes

-You can place baskets to trade eggs with friends. Not sure how those work yet.

Each person must have a random "majority" color assigned to them.
I'm getting majority Blues rather than Pinks.

Baskets seem to be 100 in of the basket color => 50 out of the other.
Since everyone has a majority color I can sorta see how that might help, still that rate is pretty harsh...

Not sure how much you get to pull from the basket after people use it though...

Oh god, getting the characters in the gold egg boxes is not going to be fun at all.
I've already got a ridiculous amount of fences/ponds from the blue box but no luck with the characters.

Friend tapping seems to work like this

4 common, 1 rare for 10 friends

2 common, 1 rare for 10 friends

1 common, 1 rare for 10 friends

1 common for 70 friends.

So you're only going to get 90 of whatever the rare one is for you per day from friends and however many you get from tapping bunnies and if any quests give them out.

Anyone else have a crap load of rabbits in krustyland they can't tap?

I got a picket fence in common and golden eggs in the rare one. Then got the building from the golden one.

If I had more donuts, I'd actually use them for this.

I started collecting the eggs from my friends houses, but didn't know you needed 500 eggs to unlock a box or how bad the trade baskets were. Ended up with a 200/300 split on blue/pink eggs so I'll have to wait until tomorrow before I open a box.

I think it'd be worth it especially considering how much importance EA is now putting on having a lot of friends (holiday events & FP collecting).

It would also be help if the list was in alphabetical order so we can just compare to our friends list in-game and fill in the blanks as we go.

I have a bit of a technical question about the game. I'd noticed it starts running a bit slow on my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 from time to time, so I thought I'd give my Nook HD+ a try. It seems to run rather well on that, but despite the Nook being 1080p vs the Tab's 1280x800, the Nook is much farther zoomed in, and cannot seem to zoom out to nearly the extent of the Tab. Everything is certainly much prettier on the Nook, but it's a pain to be unable to view more than a few buildings at a time. Is there any way to get around this or is it just something that cannot be changed?

Those statistics are true, but not everyone has that. If you get mostly Pinks, you'll have those splits, but if you get mostly Blues, you'll get have 45% of 100 golden eggs in the blue box, while you'll have 45% of 300 golden eggs in the pink box.

People appear to be split between pink and blue evenly, it doesn't really have any effect besides making the prizes a little different between friends.
