That's not how I interpret events. Sinead decided to respond to a compliment in a condescending fashion. Miley responded by being highly, highly insensitive. Sinead wrote another letter in response. From whatever I can gather of Sinead's thoughts, she's not upset about Miley's behavior because it's "new" and "fresh" and "wild" or whatever other adjective is associated with youth. It's seemingly the direct opposite actually.
It's a brave new world.

I don't care for either of them, they both sound stupid, but I did chuckle when I read that open letter when Sinead said at the end "You could really do with educating yourself, that is if youre not too busy getting your tits out to read." not because of the fact that it was a "burn" but because she's telling someone to educate herself when her tweets sound like they were written by a 5 year old.

Sinead O'Connor got rightfully served. She could and should have kept her letter to Miley private if all she really wanted to do was offer help/advice, but instead she made it public to get some limelight.
