Ive gone through the demo 20 or so times and i keep finding neat shit to do in slappys haha. Grinding coping is much easier but still kinda buggy, i can get a smith almost every time whereas i had to fluke it in OG skate

+ licensed new era caps to wear
- shitty online based achievements
- still hard as fuck
- bars on grind rails, have to pay to remove them and they come back
- framerate suffers badly at times
- still too many similar moves mapped to such a small stick.. 12 attempts to kickflip, just kept detecting ollie or pop shove it.
- on foot tank controls are fucking abysmal
- awkward to move items with much clipping and stretch armstrong arms
- same long winded retry (are you SURE??? yes/no) after every failed trick

The on-foot controls sucking isn't just about running. Moving around on foot is a pain in the ass in general (although being able to is a very welcome addition)

Looks like I'll be missing out on this game for a few weeks, 360 just died.
On a brighter note, I had been getting out of the demo area over the last couple of days and I must say that I've had more fun in the small area outside of Slappy's than I did in the entirety of the first game's San V. The environment is just so dense with things to skate and the city just feels less flat than the original. Enjoy the game guys.

I do agree that the area outside of Slappy's is pretty well designed and is very fun to explore. All of those stair & flatbank combinations everywhere are so much fun. My only complaint about those is that you can't grind the top of most of the banks, which is lame. I think I've explored most of the area outside of Slappy's and it looks very promising all around. There are still a few areas where not much is going on, but I noticed that most of these stagnant areas have a bunch of movable objects for you to play with, which is nice. I can't wait for Thursday
