annnd preordered, that's the elder scrolls I know and love.

In all seriousness I do wish enemies reacted at least a little bit to being hit but as long as the core ES stuff is there I don't really care. The last thing I want them to do is polish the game and scrap even more RPG stuff.

The fight on the bridge was pretty good. But I'm with Derrick01. As much as I'd love a complete revamp of the game's combat for the better, It's still very much an Elder scrolls game at heart and I'm still excited.

I thought I would actually dislike the fact that they still don't exactly react besides when they die but I don't. I know what Skyrim is great at and it isn't the combat. As long as I'm still having fun murdering people I don't mind if they don't have any physical reactions.

Also LOL at "Need a horse? Talk to my father" Or I'll just steal the bitch.

Yeah, I was going to wait, but now I'm getting this game day 1. Watching those videos sent my mind in a flurry of all the great times I had in Oblivion and the Shivering Isles, Morrowind too but I expect Skyrim to be more like Oblivion than anything else. Bethesda deserves my money.

Man, that art trailer that was released the other day got me really hyped. I'm probably going to have to preorder this on steam soon.

Thought the same thing haha

Wait, if there are bounty hunters now does that mean we can find jobs as bounty hunters? Because more sanctioned murder is always a great thing.

11 days left and no PC or PS3 footage?

PS3 version, based on Oblivion and Fallout 3, will run without screen tearing and lack anti-aliasing compared with the 360 version. PC version will be the definitive version (it goes without saying) running on maxed out settings under DX11. That's my guess.

I may be wrong, but I don't think this game supports DX11.

Stream confirmed that I can use magic in one hand, and punch in the other.

So happy.

Also was that an assassination animation when he grabbed that dudes hoe and started punching him to death? The quality was so bad I couldn't tell what was going on.

It's for the best. I only saw about 3 minutes of it before it got taken down. Would like to see just a bit more in better quality, though.

As if people here needed proof, the game just looks so good in motion compared to screen shots.

Purely out of curiosity (I don't own any consoles, so I can't exactly benefit from it) is pirating games for consoles really easy? Is it as simple as download, shove it on a disc / console HDD and play, or do you have to have a modded console? I've always wondered what measures were in place to stop people doing it.

For the 360 you have to j tag your console. Takes some work but the steps can probably be easily found.

But with most new releases the people who stream usually just get the retail game early from stores that break street date.

You don't have to jtag your console. It's shockingly easy to mod your 360 to play games and get them online.

That's all I'll say. I hope the PS3 version is as good as the 360 version from the leaks.

You've got that a bit backwards.
No, DA2 withheld data from the game on a server, on release day check, it downloads that last bit. The game can now play.

Steam also withholds data though not all the time. Steamworks itself is piss easy to crack/fool.

Don't see how anyone can complain about the visuals. The game looks beautiful, and a hell of a lot better than Oblivion.

It's alright. Just as long as people have more poorly compressed footage to judge it on!

There's no reason to mod your 360 now that you can jtag any system.

Missed out on the stream *sadface*

I did, however, watch the 2 part intro videos. Am I the only one who thought the inventory system is pretty much just like Oblivions? Maybe I missed something, but it seemed to separate items into different categories and then put them in a big list, just like in Oblivion. The only difference was that there isn't a traditional menu overlay.

hopefully i just missed something and it actually is an improvement.
