Or at least, only in the final part.
But a better one.
For the first part, only dates, to enphasize the massive size of the history behind the series.

Oh, for the handling of the controllers, maybe the father could have said: "Are you ready for this adventure?" and the son could have said Yes with his head.

I wonder if the reason behind this is that Nintendo had to essentially re-hire its entire marketing department mid-2007? There's a few sources that seem to suggest that NOA lost a significant portion of its workforce during the move to San Francisco.

Also it's interesting to see how much Wii advertising has changed. Had this been 2006 that guy would have been standing up, making wild swings, flinching when enemies attacked etc.
