Small changes you'd like to see in Destiny

i don't get why they have to reset my secondary and special ammo every time i change weapon... makes no sense.

every time i want to play an encounter in a certain way i have to loot for ammo first which pretty much equals to kill everyone in the area in some other way

I assumed this was a bug in the beta. What's worse, was if you switched back to your original secondary weapon, it too now had 0 ammo.

I agree with many of the things I've seen in this thread. Two small ones I'd like to see:

- very minor, but at end of first mission (when you kill the archon) - the cut scene takes you to see traveler, then at end of cut scene puts you back into orbit, just leave us at the Tower where we can buy/sell stuff.
- toggle helmet whenever viewing character in inventory screen.

I heavily agree with buff needed for Hand Cannon. I want to love that gun (and do), but feel like I am willfully nerfing myself when using it. A scout rifle of similar damage is it's superior in every way.

For me to consider buying this game after playing the beta I would need a few important things that won't happen.

I need a better FoV in the game. 65 doesn't cut it. Give me a 90 FoV so I can see what I'm actually doing. Currently it feels like I'm looking throw binoculars when playing but without the zoom.

Better enemy AI. Every encounter outside of bosses (which I'll get to in a minute) is the same and got bland really fast.

Boss characters have entirely too much HP. I don't want to kill them in 30 seconds but at the same time shooting a thousand bullets at a boss for the sake of it gets old fast.

The transitions should be more seamless. Gong from Orbit to the Tower takes a good 30 seconds if not more. Worse yet is when you want to go back to Orbit and then load into a mission. There goes two minutes. It should be much faster than that. Load times really killed my enjoyment.

Why when I'm sprinting forward is moving right or left so restrictive? It's a bad gameplay design decision and having it like every other game wouldn't change anything but make it smoother to play.

Why is the "competitive" (pvp) multiplayer aspect of the game so bland? The map pool is pretty limited and the modes even less so. It's especially appalling coming from a company that got known from the multiplayer of its previous game series.

I honestly could go on but those are my main points. I just wasn't that blown away by it.

Did anybody say a in game map because I can't deliver there isn't one. I'd also like the destiny app to work in landscape mode.

They only made a few of the multiplayer maps available in the beta. There will be quite a bit more in release.

However you keep the ammo in reserve
If you switch from an AR with 400 bullets leftover to a SR with 15 bullets
And empty the SR, if you switch back to the AR, you will have those 400 bullets you started with

that only woks for primary weapons. with secondary and special weapons every time you change weapon it reset ammo to zero.

I assumed this was a bug in the beta. What's worse, was if you switched back to your original secondary weapon, it too now had 0 ammo.

i hope, it takes away any strategic value your weapon stash may have.

After being reminded of this annoyance in another thread, I really want them to fix how initiating a sprint cancels a reload. If I start sprinting first and then start reloading it works fine, so why not the other way around? It's constantly messing with me.

- allow us to toggle voice chat for all/fireteam/proximity

So much this.

If this game really wants to have legs, there needs to be more social interaction.

I know everyone is going to say, "well what about the 9 year old that keeps saying he fucked my mom"?!

Honestly, when was the last time you really ran into someone like that? For me, its been a very long time. Most of those kids went away with the addition of party chat. Its rare that I even hear anyone in a lobby of COD (or any game for that matter) talking at all.

Open the flood gates for mic's. Were all adults, we know how to mute them.

remove all PvP and incorporate that content into single player / coop mode.

Or just nerf the vehicles a lot

This idea makes me twitch with what is the opposite of happiness.
..but I respect your opinion on the subject
please don't do this Bungie ;)

My suggestions:

Fix the bug that makes you snap out of ADS and start sprinting... so weird (PS4)
Fix the blackscreen bug that happens between Crucible matches sometimes (instead of seeing your ship in orbit)
Fix my withdrawals so I can go back to playing other games without yearning for Destiny, therefore ruining aforementioned games (pls).

Helm toggle. Please! Pleeeeeeaaaaase!

Proximity chat. If you want to make it easy to avoid unpleasant conversations, add a "Mute Player" button to the R3 interaction menu.
