Unrealistic, I want John Wayne Gacy Jr. (with like instead of "Opsy!" from MKII they have "OH MY GOD-OD-OD" down by Sufjan Stevens whenever he does like an uppercut), the kid with his red balloon from that French movie that I can't remember, Dario Argentino, Bigby Wolf from Fables, Michael Stipe (Reckoning era so he will have hair and everyone will say, "Thats not Michael Stipe"), Holden Caufield, the dancing baby from Ally McBeal, the paperclip when you open up Word, Gonzo the Great (or actually the entire Muppet Babbies being played like the Pokemon Trainer), Cathulu, the guy who does the Yes cover art, the Ice Cream Man (you know, the other Howard), Andrew WK, and Huruki Murakami.

That said, if he's fun to play, and it looks like he might be, I would welcome him aboard even if he was the most annoying character ever.

And that's the problem. The game needs a 'only one character from each game/franchise' rule. I thought the game was supposed to be Nintendo All Stars, not Mario vs. Pokemon.

If you do that, then you're going to end up leaving out a lot of important characters out of the game. Lets say that was the case, it would mean that mario would be the only character from the mario franachise and you would have to leave out peach, bowser, luigi and wario. All of those are pretty big Nintendo characters. It would be a bad idea having a limit of one character from each series. The more playable characters in the game, the better.

Diddy's had a few of his own games. He's no less important to the Donkey Kong series than Metaknight is to Kirby or Roy to Fire Emblem.

Why is that a problem? If Sakurai manages to have at least one representative from every Nintendo title in this game, why is having additional characters from these games a bad thing? You're basically saying you'd rather have less than half the possible roster of characters to choose from, just to limit the game to one character per series.

We are going to get a character some time this week. Every page of updates has around around 2-3 characters on them. Peach's update should be bumped out of the first page tommorow (making the 2nd page have 3) so I think that makes room for another character.
