Has the daily update schedule been changed due to the delay?
I think so. The reason for the delay must be because they want to add more things to the game, so the more there is in the game, the more updates there will be.

I've heard people complain, outside of this thread, about Brawl's "limited online capability."

I, too, would like to be sucked directly into my Wii, into the internet, into the game code, and experience alternate realities.

Since he showed us the submit button, so we can submit our stages to nintendo (hopefully), I looked back a week or two ago to see if that was the button that was blurred out before. Remember? The thing he said they were working on?

I think this is it, and well its un-blurred. So we can send our pictures in? Maybe this will relate to an update for everybody votes channel or some other voting system/channel.

Also looking at the images from the update about recording your own videos there is no submit button.

It would be nice if we had user pages or something similar to upload our videos, like a nintedo-tube? Or we could just send the videos to our e-mail and put it on youtube or something.

This is just a thought really.

Just how many times is Sakurai going to draop on us the bomb? Every few weeks I wake up to an OMGWTF moment that just makes the rest of the day seem pale in comparison. Love!

I can't wait to make stage of pure terror.

no, it looks like you can move the screen right and left. look at the arrows on the side of the screen.
umm... so why did i bother to highlight with a red box that "remaining parts" stuff?

That arrow is for moving, but the grey bar in the remaining parts box would slide up and down as space gets used.

Small mistake.

Look at whats in the box with the red outline at the top of the screen......

Wow, that's awesome! Too bad the stages will probably 'vanish' at the end of the day, I hope we will be able to save a couple if we want..

Anybody else noticed how smashbros.com became one of the top 1000 sites in the world, in just a couple of months?

http://alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?url=smashbros.com (845)

Compared to nintendo.com

http://alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?url=nintendo.com (1914)

And look at the point where the traffic reaches its all-time high. October 10th-ish.

Say! Wasn't that when a new character was revealed...?

What special abilities would a Mii have? How would he fight? Like a Mii boxer?

Using Wii-mote and Nunchuck as NUNCHUCKS!

Boxer, hit you with a golf club, splat you with a tennis racket, own you with a homerun bat.
Send tons of bowling balls raining down at you for a final smash. also can all on mini tanks and cows from Wii Play

Pretty good ideas actually. All centered around the Wii and Wiisports.

Miis = Brawl's version of Mr. Game & Watch, confirmed.
Probably

Fucking amazing. Just when you think it can't get any better they pull out a freaking level editor. Game of the forever confirmed over and over.

I believe that would be the number of tiles left to 'fill up' with objects/things. Basically, the bar indicates how much more real estate you have to work with.

EDIT: Basically, just repeating what you said >_<

i just noticed there is a limit to how much stuff you can place around

of course there's a limit, all level editors have a limit because all computers/consoles have a limit. Lets just hope it's not a small limit

Thats a really good idea. I'd love to have mii that can do that as a playable character.

I wonder if you can overlap objects (parts of 2 or more objects on the same tile). Or at least certain objects can overlap (the ladder for instance...).

STAGE EDITOR HOLY MOTHER FUCKING OF SHIT ASS JUST FUCK ME IN THE ASS

This is.. I mean.. its too good to be fucking true. This isnt even in the realm of possibility anymore. Theyve checked off pretty much every box in the list of my wildest dreams. I dont even know what to think anymore. again, HOLY FUCK/

Jesus fucking christ, what happened to this game.

Day 1? I rarely ever buy games day 1, but I think this is day 1, this has to be day 1, don't even need to read the reviews, totally day 1, how can this not be day 1? Day 1! Yeah, day 1.

DAY 1

Well, I count 14 elements in that snapshot & the bar seems to be about a sixth full. I think something like 80 elements per user-created stage seems possible - though this is of course dependent on the pic not just being a placeholder, elements taking up the same quota each etc. etc.

There are 14 items placed and the meter isn't even 1/4 full... I'd say there's a decent amount that can be put in.

Stage Editor alone would have been great enough.

Stage BUILDER is megaton.

But no, there's more :

"Submit" ...?

That’s right! You can use your Wi-Fi connection to send stages you’ve made to Nintendo! (However, you can’t submit repeatedly. Maybe just once per day?)

And a stage selected from the entire daily collection will be sent from Nintendo to your Wii. A stage made by someone else will come to you over the Internet once per day!

DUN DUN DUNNNNNN! That’s the shocking truth. This means you’ll be able to experience a new stage every day—the flavor of the day, if you will.
However, the plan is for that stage to vanish once one day has passed. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime encounter.

You can submit in both the Snapshots mode and the Stage Builder mode, allowing everyone to enjoy the creations of others. The fun of sharing is one of the ways that I wanted to take advantage of Wi-Fi for something other than pure battling.

OMG OMG i never even IMAGINED that. Fuck.

DUN DUN DUUUNNNNNN §§ DUN DUN DUUNNNNNNNN

and BAROOOMPH !!

Game of the forever forever.

Also this one wont need any review. Which means people bitching when gamespot will give it 9.0 will be the greatest morons ever.

Err, I was thinking that meter was counting down and was just a small amount left. It seems wierd to have a "Remaining Parts" meter that fills up the more items you place. Prolly just bad Engrish though, makes alot more sense to have it your way.

Three months away from release, and this game amazingly just gets better and better each week. This will be the most played Wii game of it's lifetime and beyond. Game of Forever confirmed!

This will be awesome.

I'd like someone on staff to say that the levels used in smash were done by using this.

I want to play in the adults sandbox, not the kiddie one :[

I like how the first thing they think about is recreating Final Destination.

:lol :lol

Seriously though, I cannot wait to try this out!! Everytime I think this game can't get any better, Sakurai continues to amaze :D

Damn Sakurai you just continue to amaze!

...I know I'm looking waaaaay too far into the future, but I can't wait to see what he does for his next game simply to see what he can paint with a new canvas, surely there's no way he could ever top off brawl, he's just making it so damn amazing, I honestly think I will be playing this game forever

Well, since an empty screen looks this way:

I think there's still a lot of room left for other stuff.
