Who said it was a mistake?
I made a mistake by generalizing jazz.

You're just not making sense now, I never said that.
You said I shouldn't argue about music at all, because I don't know exactly what jazz as a whole is. So going by that, one could only assume that jazz = all music. Or why couldn't I argue about other genres of music? Besides why couldn't I argue about music I like, no matter the genre is? I already admit that I don't know the exact meaning of jazz as a genre, to me it's just one kind of music that I generally don't like.

Look, we're talking about jazz-based music.
Do you even know what's a chord? Because the last three chords are used often in jazz music.
Actually no, I don't know what a chord is... translation (to my native language) and wikipedia helped me though. It doesn't matter though. It should be clear by now that I don't know what jazz as a whole is. I only know some subgenres of jazz.
But it's always easier to categorize these genres as a whole, not list all subgenres. For example I like metal, but it doesn't mean I like all kind of metal music like death and black. But it doesn't bother me if I simply say I like metal, and it doesn't bother other people either. I usually list some bands, which helps others to understand my taste better. When saying I hate jazz, I can't list examples though as I don't know any bands or specific videogame songs to descibe the style I hate, I just say jazz.

In any case, you may dislike some concrete themes with some defined instruments, but on the music you are talking (japanese videogames) that you like a lot, there is a lot taken directly from jazz music (and of course from classical harmony too)
It doesn't matter if the song has like 1% or 50% influence from jazz, as long as it doesn't sound like jazz to me. And I mean jazz as I'm used to know it. Oh, and like I also said (I think), the Japanese music I like is mainly from videogames, not from real bands.
