Ohhhhh you called it :lolohamsie said:I predict game mode: versus mode tonight. :/
How can it be? There's no Kirby!rhfb said:The stage/char selection screens better not be final...
I dont want the current boxart to be the finalised one either. Its pretty decent, but they could make it better. They should make the boxart similar to the japanese boxart for Super smash bros.Jiggy37 said:I for one hope the boxart isn't the finalized version--it's ruining my hopes for seeing a girl Pokemon Trainer alternate costume. Plus it needs more Captain Falcon, Lucas, Donkey Kong, Ike, or Ice Climbers instead of double dipping on the Pokemon, Kirby, and Mario franchises.
You can earn most characters by playing through Adventure Mode: The Subspace Emissary. For those of you who look forward to those encounters, I recommend you clear this mode before playing Basic Brawl.

Does this mean we may start getting unlockables updated on the site before launch? So, this time Im moving in the direction of not being too hung up on hidden characters.
Hopefully this means he will reveal more characters soon!Sakurai said:So, this time Im moving in the direction of not being too hung up on hidden characters.

no more long as versus play sessions to unlock Mewtwo.
Linkhero1 said:wtf so we won't know if a person disconnects? FUCK ONLINE!
It's great but you'll probably be playing against CPUs half the time, since there are many disconnecter, not that it matters.

HK-47 said:Wow people take everything on that site as instantly true...its not the real character selection screen
XDHold on! You cant tell its a CPU!
You can cast one vote for the stage you want to play. A stage is chosen by lottery from among those voted on by the players.
Also, the items that are turned off in the item switch are also determined by lottery.

Also, biggest update of November/Dec. 3-7 confirmed?
I agree that it's smart but either way F it lol. I don't really care though since there aren't stats when playing Basic Mode.ezekial45 said:I think it's pretty smart to be honest. Though its a good thing the CPU won't engage during friend's matches.
I wonder how many is "most"?Sakuraiiiiiii! said:You can earn most characters by playing through Adventure Mode: The Subspace Emissary.
Yeah. I had a "Wait...why doesn't everyone do this?" moment when I read that.Iam Canadian said:By the way...Sakurai's method of dealing with disconnections is so simple, I'm frankly surprised nobody else thought of it first.

But what kind of a prize?
The Wii console is trying to connect in earnest! And it succeeds!

WastingPenguins said:Uhh... so we have absolutely no control over item appearance in online matches? Or settings at all, for that matter? Are we really going to be forced to play nothing but 3-minute Brawls?
Uhhhhh.![]()
HK-47 said:Holy crap what? You didnt just leave a one on one match on over night? Crazy
Firestorm said:All the characters there are from the demo. No Zelda, Kirby, etc.
WastingPenguins said:Edit: I overreacted and didn't look at screens very closely. Never mind.
