IMO if it turned out that Megaman.exe was in Brawl, I don't think I would be that disappointed. I played the first three games a lot, and I always thought that his design looked really badass. Plus he looks really cool in his different evolved forms.

Yes, because changing a character to tailor to the generic anime crowd and changing the main protagonist to a kid that is "The one!" who has a bunch've shitty friends who also have digimon ripoffs is really badass.

Megaman in Brawl would do quite a bit of good for Capcom, in my opinion. Think about what Melee did for the Fire Emblem franchise.

And as a bit of anecdotal evidence, soon after I heard that Snake would be in Brawl, I acquired, with some difficulty, Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. I had never touched the series before, and that announcement provided the kick I needed to see what the fuss was about. I'm now an MGS fan who will definitely be getting Metal Gear Solid 4.

Honestly, the head looks neat as an avatar, but seeing the actual art and character? It's FREAKY.

No directly tangible good, I mean, in the sense of immediate profits and whatnot. I do agree that the Fire Emblem effect would come into play to some extent, but Eliwood looked close enough to Roy that probably some confused people picked it up--I don't know if anyone could associate modern Mega Man designs with the Blue Bomber.

...Which, I guess, is at least one reason to surrender some hope on Mega Man Classic being in. >_> He'd be the Star Force model or something just to anger us all.
