Smash is most definitely a fighter, but Screwattack's lists kind of suck and don't really prove much. >_>

I'd be happy enough with Micaiah since Zelda's really slow as far as magic users go. (Though Zelda can still rock in the right hands gameplay-wise.)
 
I won't predict my real predictions since one is probably too awesome to happen

Instead I predict update: character select screen

Ok since it's Wensday I predict we're going to see a character update.

However becuse it's Novembust it'll be someone we pretty much knew was obviously going to be in the game anyhow like Luigi or Captian Falcon.

Of course to drag things out they will JUST show us the character today so we can look forward to an update that shows Some of their movies (the ones that are the same as before) later this week plus 2 more updates for them (The final smash and an new/changed move)
 
I'm not a fan of Geno, but I think he's got a decent chance. He scored well on the poll, he's got a strong fanbase, and I believe Sakurai mentioned him specifically, saying something like, "I consider Geno first-party," or something.

I think Geno's at least more preferable than Bowser Jr., who seems to be the most likely candidate for another Mario franchise representative. Though personally, if you asked me to choose one Mario character to put in Brawl, the answer wouldn't be hard:

I haven't gotten a Wii yet, so who's the equivalent of The Axem Rangers, The Koopa Brothers, and Rawk Hawk in Super Paper Mario?

I'm not sure. SPM was overall pretty forgettable to me. Francis, maybe? He was definitely the highlight of the whole game.

I haven't played it in awhile so I forget most of the characters, Dimentio is the only awesome villian that I can think of.
 
Since it has to be in there as a boss, I'll go with Subspace Emissary: Combo Cannon as my guess for the evening.

My prediction for tonight is the pause menu.

"Press the pause button and the game pauses. You can do many other things while the game is paused such as using the bathroom, eating dinner, or homework. You can unpause by pressing the pause button again.

I can see it happen.

I know it's sarcasm, but I can't help myself: if giving away plot details of Super Paper Mario dissuades even one person from buying that game, I say spoil away. Francis and Luvbi are basically the game's only great features that last longer than two minutes (as opposed to, say, that awesome part where an enemy
grabs a star
and chases after you for all of ten seconds). People could save $36 and get a much more enjoyable action-platforming-RPG experience by buying Dragon's Curse and Wonder Boy in Monster World on VC instead.

This is why I'm unhappy. We would have had the game next week and after I finish finals I could have been playing it for a month. Why Nintendo, why? :(

Sadly, quoted for truth. I actually decided to give this game another try today. There are flashes of total brilliance (see: Fracktail, Francis), but these moments are punctuated by long stretches of tedium. I want to like this game so very, very badly, but I just can't.
 
As much as I'd like some Galaxy love in Brawl I don't see it happening at all. There's already a bunch of Sunshine influence, and before the game was delayed it was really close after galaxy's release. They may add something with the delay but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Oh, I thought that was just the one from Sunshine.

I'd much rather have flying Mario (or as I call him 'NiGHTS Mario') as a color option.

Well, since I've consistently predicted a character I'll break from my routine. Stage update, Green Hills Zone. Alternately, Death Egg.

The copy of Mario who you race when a Cosmic comet is at a galaxy. He looks cool. He's just basically a Mario shaped hole in space and you can see the stars through him.
 
If WW Link ends up being a playable character I want Paper Mario in there to balance him out.

Not one or the other.

Yeah, I'm a bit OCD about shit like that.
