When it comes out in Japan in a week and a bit, are you going to want to know the remaining secret characters immediately, or will you wait until Febuary?

Forward Smash: Red Pikmin (fire damage)
Down Smash: Blue Pikmin (ice damage)
Up Smash: Yellow Pikmin (electric damage)

The only thing hard with this is that there are not enough for all five.

No offense at all but I'm not a fan of this. I'd much rather he have attacks that involve SWARMS of pikmin

Also I really hope that you build up a little army as the match goes on. Looks like 5 at a time might be the limit but I guess we'll see

I'll put it out there that I don't believe Captain Olimar will be an unlockable, though I can't wait to see how he'll be tied into the Subspace Emissary storyline. Maybe his ship will crash land somewhere in Nintendo Land and he'll meet up with some random Nintendo character, or his Pikmin will stumble across a Pokeball and think it's treasure, only to have Jigglypuff or one of the Pokemon Trainer's Pokemon pop out of it. Ahhhh, the more I think about it, the more I look forward to playing through Subspace Emissary, of all things. If only because I want to see how all these characters fit together into a massively awesome quest. :0)

In all of the pictures he never has more than one type of any given Pikmin, so I would guess that there's on move to pull Pikmin, and there's a set order that he pulls the different colors in.

Unless I cut myself off from the internet entirely, it's inevitable that I'm going to find out what characters are in the game. I'd like a majority of the subspace plot to remain relatively secret, though.

But, basically, I'm not too worried about hearing what characters are in, since I usually get the game, find out what the unlockables are, unlock 'em as fast as I can, and then play multiplayer like a madman.

Yeah, the only order is Original, Melee, Brawl. After that, it's completely random.

I side with the camp that says each musician is contributing more than one piece. Or at the very least that many of the musicians are doing so, if not all of them.

ARe there going to be other special characters on top of the released named characters.

Really sounds like his Down-B will pull Pikmin from the ground, and the Pikmin can be killed individually! I really hope he can have a shitload at once.. this will be SUCH an interesting dynamic!

And the scattering thing? Sounds so unique!!!! Can't wait!!
