Well if you would READ THE OTHER THREAD, the one that should REMAIN ACTIVE (Alpha you asshole ), Jimmy already said they aren't after the fans' money, its not gonna be 1995 again.

And so what, every band needs to make money. Even a lot of "independent" bands... you think just because Wilco doesn't sell a lot of records means that they're poor? No. They tour a lot.

Well...Corgan's solo sold quite well. I know that the guy lives in some kick ass mansion with his stupidly hot wife. I still, highly, doubt that he's in need for money.

Yeah, Corgan made his money a long time ago with the release of Siamese and Mellon Collie (and touring for those). Adore made a decent amount of money with touring, but they gave some to charity, and they likely made a ridiculous amount with the pre-Machina and Machina tours (Jimmy's return, and then later on the announcement that they were gonna break up really brought in the cash).

He likely has a ridiculous amount invested and doesn't really need to make THAT much more. If anything he's probably more interested in reviving the Pumpkins for the sake of trying to be more relevant again reputation-wise.

I've been posting here for about half a year, and I still don't know where the OA is. I don't believe I will ever get the decoder ring either.

If you want emo listen to fall out boy or some shit.

SP was "emo" before it was "emo". It's genuine. They weren't trying to jump on the emo bandwagon because there wasn't one. Just compare the lyrics dude, when Corgan was "emo" (Mayonaise for example) the lyrics are something that emo bands can't even COMPARE TO.

The music certainly didn't sound EMO either... far too sophisticated to compare to the ridiculously simplistic shit you hear on the radio by My Chemical Romance or some shit.
