So, all of Arkham Knight's DLC is getting hard to track

There's like a billion costumes and DLC missions and shit and they're all from different stores and providers and shit.

I mean, how do you keep track of what's available?

In my experience most DLC is garbage anyway. So I ignore it and it makes my life easier. Unless of course the DLC is good, then I'll eventually hear about it and play it (Left Behind, BOGT, etc).

When in doubt spreadsheet it out!

When in doubt, don't support this horseshit and play something else.

There'll be a GOTY/Gold/Complete/whateverthefuck version in a year that you can get for cheap, by then you'll know whether it was even worth playing in the first place.

sooo much

I mean, just off the top of my head:

Red Hood, Harley Quinn, Batgirl, a shit ton of costumes, nightmare missions, probably alt-Batmobiles? Tech upgrades? Never mind shit that's Platform Exclusive

I've gotten every batman day 1 so far, but I think this ends now. Yeah... I'm going to wait. It may take a year or even more, but there WILL be a GoTY version with more content, more polish, and it will cost less.

I'm sick of this nonsense.

Wait a year and pre-order the Insane Edition GOTY Edition to get all the pre-order an collector edition exclusive DLC for the GOTY that has all the DLC for the original release.

Very true. WB is infamous for super awesome wicked cool cheap everything included GOTY editions.

At this point, I'm going to rent Arkham Knight and buy the GOTY Edition next year.
The season pass and pre-order crap just seems excessive.

EDIT: Massa above me gets it.

I just want to play the main game. I don't care about skins or exclusive missions. If the actual DLC turns out to be decent, I might get it eventually.

^ The Season Pass includes everything?

Well WB's track record with Season Passes is roughly this:-

Arkham Origins - Not all content
Shadows of Mordor - Includes all content bar preorder items
LEGO Batman 3 - Includes all content
Mortal Kombat X - Not all content

So probably not but it's a question of what will fall outside the Pass. That or wait for the inevitable GOTY version.

Friend of mine gave me a free Nvidia code from a couple of 980s he bought, otherwise, I would just wait for this game to get a huge discount down the line. I'm a huge Arkham fan, but the WB seems to be turning everything they touch to DLC Hell, so I've made it a personal policy to avoid those games out of the gate.

I'm still waiting for Arkham Origins GOTY. Will there be one?

Season pass?

Wait for the "Game of the Year Edition" or failing that, whatever super mega ultra edition comes out in several months to a years time. There is seriously no point in spending such a large amount of money on content that is inevitably going to be put into a singal package after everyone else is milked. Plenty of games to be getting on with from my perspective. Gaming at +ÂŁ60 per game is something I am not going to do; I rather put my money into something else

Just ignore them. That's what I always do. DLC is mostly forgettable stuff that rarely, if ever, improves upon a game in any meaningful way. In fact, DLC in my experience largely ends up harming the core experience and balance of a game, which is why I always see the best route as avoiding it altogether.

Do you plan to play all the DLC's or just selected ones?

I'll wait until some time has passed and people tell me what the good DLC is. I certainly don't want to play every DLC.

You know it won't. It's gonna be a full $70 release for sure.

At this point I don't even care anymore. If it weren't for the Nvidia promotion lining up with me building a rig, I wouldn't have even bothered with the game until the GOTY edition.

But WB and 2K are really the worst when it comes to DLC.

If it wasn't Rocksteady & Batman I would just wait for the GOTY. I'll buy the base game and whatever I miss, so be it. I'll YouTube it if I have to see it after the fact

This is the worst shit tbh. Really bothers me and I hope WB doesn't pull this with Mad Max.

Oh, knowing this fucking company, you better get your spreadsheet made now, so you can start filling out all of the nickel and diming shady shit they want to offer consumers.

WB is hand down the worst publisher in the industry for their DLC garbage.

If you are worried about missing out on something day 1 OP you should get The Collector's edition from gamestop with the season pass for PS4.... Also create a WB Play ID. lol.

We need a Watch_Dogs type chart.

Watch_Dogs really didn't have complicated DLC but whatever. If you bought the game + season pass on a PlayStation platform you eventually got everything.
