Who is Ryan Reynolds?

Nuh uh.Electivirus said:Too bad we don't know anybody like that. Just as well; whomever it is would probably an awful mod.

Unless I missed something.

BeeDog said:For a position that you don't actually get too much credit for (forum moderation), I honestly do wonder how it has to feel when seemingly everyone piles up on you after you get de-modded. This question is obviously not specific to Amir0x (who I have no beef with at all despite disagreeing with several of his strong opinions), but I wonder if the statements that get put up serve as a wake-up call or just reinforce said person's questionable sides even more.
I see. Does he have a notably interesting penis? I was just voting for penis avatars really. Then I could call the missus over to the screen and say "look at this bunch of cocks".Strafer said:

I've said before in a topic then when I make a mistake, I'd own up to it. I made a mistake. It's not the end of the world.
Personally, I really love GAF but I am glad to no longer be a mod. There was a lot of shit people presumed about what I did to them that I never did, and a lot of conversations I could never participate in for more than three posts because it would instantly be derailed. People hate negativity and especially people who are non-apologetically forceful in the sharing of their opinions. Combine that with modship, and it was a bad mix for me personally. That won't change, of course, regarding how I present my positions. I was that way before I was a mod, and I was that way after. The only thing that changed was that it became impossible to be that way without everyone going "yo, you're a mod."
I definitely think I was a good mod, never abused my powers or banned people for participating in conversations with me. Always letter-of-the-law'd it. But it was time to go, clearly.
I could post Santa rape porn... but I think the last guy that did that got banned.Polari said:This is what passes for drama on GAF these days? Sigh.

As there is no transparency regarding bans people's imagination has to fill in the blanks. And if people see someone in a discussion with you with a banned tag, it's a pretty easy (even if wrong) conclusion to make.Amir0x said:See what I mean? I never did this. Not even once. Also: Thanks to all the people who sent me messages of encouragement. It does make me happy to know there were plenty of people who liked my style.

As a moderator, your job isn't to follow the law but to actually create the law and impose it. That's why it's so difficult: because you have to constantly check yourself and consider when you may be about to overstep a line, just as much as you need to check when others overstep a line.
You overstepped a line so many times and the bulk of this thread PROVES it. But not only that, you overstepped a line that you yourself kept drawing.
Bafflingly hypocritical moderator.
