i have two jobs and they are both paying me every 2 weeks, but on different periods; so theres a check every week basically. one pays me about 800-1000$ every 2 weeks and one pays me about 200-500$ every 2 weeks. so i guess like 1000-1500$ every 2 weeks?

$1700

That's after taxes, medical/insurance, and 401k/auto-deducting savings

Plus bonus and refunds from my stipends when I travel (typically an extra $200-$300).

25 years old, working same place for 2.5 years.

For the sake of comparison, my rent for a 1BR/1BA is $710/month + utilities.

I make $493 weekly

I guess it's a good amount of money, especially here in Texas where the cost of living isn't that high

My take-home is about $2k a month in USD, so about ~$1k for 2 weeks. Its even more considering the rent for my apartment is covered by my employers. I have very little expenses. Monthly utility costs are only about $100. With my car payed off and only a student loan to pay, it's pretty easy to save up money.

As a contractor I get paid weekly. About a grand to $1200 a week depending on OT.

It's weird that I seem to get paid more than a lot of GAF. I think the high-rolling professionals are keeping mum about their wages. At the moment I am on about £2k a month after taxes. I don't know where a lot of it goes though. I don't spend much money when out and I live at home. I pay rent though.

Like 450 including tips. Can't afford a car currently with this pay. Maybe I'll start saving at tax return time, that's usually when I buy cool shits.

Just over AU$1500 after tax.

Converted to USD it comes out to roughly 2349 before taxes, not including 8% vacation money that gets paid out once a year at a higher tax-rate.

I get paid monthly and pay taxes once a year, but since I just did my tax declaration last weekend, I should be able to calculate and convert it to $:

Monthly amount after taxes:
January - November: 5.3k$
December (double): 10.6k$

That's just the raw amount of money after taxes though and doesn't show the real amount of money that I have available each month. For instance, I get tax reductions for certain things that aren't visible here. I voluntarily pay self-provision payments of about 7400$ / year to get the maximum tax reduction. Once you pay that, you can't access that money until your retirement (except for some special cases). If I didn't want to do these payments, I would have to pay more taxes.

Also, health insurance is mandatory here and you have to pay monthly, which would be another 340$ / month that I can't just spend on other things.

About 2k after tax but... I don't get paid during school holidays (am a sessional music teacher) so there are about 14 weeks a year where I have no income.

After taxes and pension deduction about $4500 every two weeks 12 hour days.
I`m a millwright/machinist/welder

When I worked on the oil rigs I made 5K a week not including perks and bonuses.

Very nice. In my area those trades pay very low. I was on jury duty with a guy who has been doing it since getting out of the navy. He said that since this is a military area it's saturated with people with those skills and he's lucky to make $18/hour. He mentioned looking for oil rig work, I hope it worked out for him. Young guy, just started a new family, he could work that for a year or two then come back into the area (that was his plan). Though the jobs he was looking at were around $3k a week - probably an experience thing.

After taxes, medical, and everything my pay comes up to 1790 every 2 weeks. Just shy of $3500 a month take home. Wife brings in about $2400 a month.

I get paid very week instead of every 2 weeks.

~800$ per week before taxes, ~600$ per week after taxes.

I'm contracted in IT.

I'd love to get out of contracts to earn more money, but it's not easy. Everyone wants contracted people for IT.

$2100 after taxes for a 2 week period, but I get once a month.
$5940 before taxes for a month.

This is Sweden. Mechanical Engineer with an MSc.

I work on commission so every once in awhile I'll have a bigger paycheck, sometimes two or three times bigger, but most of the time it's around $250 every other week after taxes. That's just a weekend job, I'm still in college, yadda yadda.

4650 every 2 weeks before taxes
software developer with 20 years experience
unfortunately the government and my ex wife takes most of that though.

I start a new job next week. I calculated my paychecks at 1,184 before taxes (probably about 947.20 after). After four months, I'll get bumped up to 1464 before (1,172 after).

I'll still be making less than half of what my other friends make. But I'll finally be on a career track.
