As a western man in my 30s, the idea of comics depicting women being fucked by tentacle monsters never really tickled my giblets growing up. I always felt like the idea of comic porn was for the sweaty palmed among us.

However. Today, I was bored in work, and thought that it’s time to see what the fuss was about. Today I read a little known piece called Emergence (Metamorphosis) aka 177013.

First of all I had to learn to reverse my natural panel crawl. Kept forgetting to read right to left. Once I got that down pat it was smooth sailing. I wasn’t expecting much but this was a surprise knowing nothing about it going in. I was dying to see the story right through (it’s fairly short), it’s not well written, it’s hammy and ridiculous, and is doing it’s best to try and shock you every step of the way. I seen someone call this the “requiem for a dream of hentai” which is probably about the best summary.

The fact is, I finished it, enjoyed it, got hard at all the parts I suppose I was meant to? Which left me coming home, horned up to the gills. I needed release ASAP. My gf was hit with a steam train. I feel I can relate to the 50 shades crowd a little more, I’m enlightened.

So I guess I’m a sick fucking pervert who got a boner to little rapey cartoons. I’m one of those people now. I told her to read it, tbc I guess. Any recommendations of grounded hentai? Not ready for monsters with 5 dicks just yet.

Will do, I’ll put this on my ‘to read’ list. This is what I think grabs me, I like a decent story, the fact there is hunka chunka on the pages is like a wee Brucie bonus. It could have been beginners luck starting with this one like O oagboghi2 said, but there has to be more out there. The contrast between the dark twisted emotional plot, with the depravity of the peripheral characters and the absolute innocently sexed crazed nature of the protagonist was something that triggered the big man down stairs to react. Reminds me of things like Ichi The Killer for example, one of my favs, but that’s not a hentai AFAIK.
