It looks like Sony really doesn't give a shit about this poor thing. They talked like 2 minutes about it at the conference. I guess the "dozens" of games some Sony employee has been teasing consists of a crappy looking f2p game, a God of War collection, dlc for the Walking Dead, some indie games..... and that seems to be about it.

Are you guys still excited about the future of this platform, or do you think its vita (vita means life) is slowly fading away?

Vita is pretty much a joke outside of niche indie games and some JRPGs. I don't expect anything in terms of a huge high profile IP.

Sony will probably ride the current price as long as possible until the Vita fades into obscurity before they start cutting prices.

No, he thinks the notion that Sony is ignoring Vita in favor of PS3/PS4 is self-evidently absurd. It's pretty clear in context.

He's incredibly sincere to a fault, and I don't believe for a second that he's ever tried to bullshit or deceive anyone, but his perspective on Vita doesn't necessarily comport with reality.
