How did this game get by quality control sony?

I've also noticed that this game is stealing assets from Skyrim and probably many other games

I still can't believe that a game like this got a greenlighted by PSN. Please avoid this game at all costs.

Is it me or at around 1:00 does it cut to the character walking the exact same environment 3 times in a row? It walks passed the same pillar on the left.

Sony has no standards. Solbrain "games" used to litter the PlayStation Mobile storefront. They were just poorly running collectathons with a generic environment from Unity and a stolen character model (a few even starred Hatsune Miku!). The developer managed to crank out at least 12 of them in the last few months of the service's life. On top of that, the "creator" would also spam the store with games that were mostly Unity asset or tutorial packs.

This shouldn't be much of a surprise, though. Sony let the one developer they seemingly banned from PSM (for re-skinning the PSM SDK demos and selling them as games) to make a PS4 game.

I saw this on the store today and wondered what the hell it was, and now I know. I hope it is taken down soon.

It'd be nice if Sony or Valve gave a shit about quality control. Not sure about MS but they had the indie games thing last gen which was not regulated alongside XBLA

Sony needs better quality control. The dev just stole assets direct from deviantart and used as the logo for the game! I'm gonna notify the artist right now

Is this a joke?! I'm checking the developers twitter page and...

https://twitter.com/lightningstudi

They literally just steal everything and put it on their page. They are using a direct Kasumi promotional from DOA5 for their developer logo handle!

*edit*

Ninja'd by one minute..just how can they literally have no one up their ass with lawsuits by now?!

they kept repeating the same running scene to make the game look bigger than it actually is.
I noticed that too, I think we saw a grand total of like 3 extremely small areas in that entire trailer that they kept looping and showing from different angles.

Also 8+ hours of gameplay, lmao

Sony, MS, and Nintendo have no quality control. How would that even work? Are they suppose to check assets for hundreds of games through various regions? Steam doesn't even do that.

This being said, if the appropriate action is taken in terms of exposing stolen assets, their shit could potentially get removed.

Yep, people think Game Certification and quality control are the same thing.

If the game is playable and doesn't brick the system, that's enough for them.

Why would Steam not doing that be a defense? Steam is the easy one to get on to. It's harder to get on a console. They don't have an automated and barely moderated system to get on the platform like Steam does. MS doesn't even allow a lot of really good indie games on the platform unless they give some sort of extra content.

Ignoring the stolen assets aspect, it should have been blocked because it looks like a total turd in general.

I've had the misfortune to play the PC version of this game for about 30 minutes. The trailers don't even show how bad this game is, it's WAY WORSE than what I expected.

Stolen assets and garbage graphics are the least of its problems, the gameplay is braindead (you only have one move, a single special move and nothing else) and the AI is pretty much inexistent. Attacks have absolutely no impact nor feedback, you just slash through ennemies while hoping they will die before you do.
The only goal in the game is to survive several waves of enemies in barren environments, there is litteraly nothing else to the game.

I lost my mind at that "gameplay trailer". That is some funny shit. When it kept replaying the clip of her running past the pillar/obelisk thing. Then it cut to another clip, THEN BACK to the pillar for a couple more... Brilliant
terrible
editing.

Doesn't the trailer say "Open World Exploration"?

EDIT: Holy shit I didn't realize that trailer is on the official PlayStation Youtube channel. What

EDIT2: I made a screencap of the end of the trailer every time it cut to the character walking and holy shit, it's not even trying. 8 cuts, 3 environments. But not only that, it cuts to the EXACT SAME SPOT.

http://imgur.com/a/BVb8I

Screen 1 and 2 are at the same spot.

Screen 3 and 4 are at the same spot, but a different one from Screen 1 and 2.
Then Screen 5 and 6 go back to the same spot as Screen 1 and 2.

Then I realized this cut is the same as Screen 1, 2, 5 and 6 just a TINY bit further, you can still see the pillar on the left.

Then the final cut before the trailer ends is at the same spot as Screens 3 and 4.
