Speaking without extensive knowledge, to me it seems Sony has them making games for the PS3, MS has them disappearing and shit, Nintendo same old same old.

I must've missed the wave race rumor. The three rumors I've heard were they were working on a game everyone wanted them to make, That they were making DKCR2, and the last being that they were doing eternal darkness 2. Where did the wave race rumor come from?

Wingnut was actually rolled into 343i.

Titan Studios is also part of Epic now.

Finally, UAF is rumored to be making a ModNation Racers game for PSP2.

Otherwise, this seems to be a solid list.

Same here. I don't know if it's even worthy of being called a rumor, I'd like to see a source or something.

It sounds amazing, though. I would buy that.

343i has not been rumored to do the CE remake, thats another studio. 343 is without a single doubt doing the next big mainline Halo (4)

If I had to guess, whatever Retro works on next will still involve 2D platforming. I mean, it only makes sense to take what they learned from DKCR and perfect it. Now, whether that be another Kong game, or ahem...a 2D Metroid.....

Just Wave Race and Retro doesn't make sense.

I think Amirox started it in the Cafe thread.
Amir0x was making fun of shit and fake rumors saying something like
"I heard that Retro is making a "lucid" game" and somehow that turned into an actual rumor. In fact if we take all the rumors Retro is working on this:
Donkey Kong Country Returns Wii2/Zelda/F-Zero/Wave Race/Star Fox/Eternal Darkness 2

At least we can be certain that Nintendo won't allow them to work on an original IP.

ooh an update from Rare:
RareLtd Rare Ltd.
Oh, there's a Calorie Challenge Volleyball shot too. We're not dripfeeding these on purpose! We're just disorganised. http://is.gd/DIC89J
Too disorganised to release screenshots now

btw shiggy who's that thing in your avatar one of those really bad ideas I guess?

Also i think it's safe to guess that Quantic Dream is working on a PS3 exclusive right now if we think about Cage's comments. E3,E3,E3,E3,E3,E3...

My Amazing Story by bankrupt Planet Moon Studios ;)
Was one of the early Kinect titles of which only Kinect Sports survived.

Yeah they're working on two. Last i heard they weren't sure if i t would be at E3 or not.

Also: Don't Guerilla have a new studio working on a new IP for PS3?

To be fair all of those games were release last year outside of South Park so its natural they'd not have anything announced yet.

Ruffian/Remedy are probably working on sequels
Lionhead have 2 games on the go? (Fable 4 and something else?)
Big Park are probably making a new Kinect game
Rare, well god knows.

MS will probably announce other "partnerships" at E3.

I bet Retro is working on Donkey Kong Country Returns for the new Nintendo system.

Sure I'd like them to have other projects but the game was a sales success, they only scratched the surface of what they could do on the first game and it visually was a beast.

I just wish they had a million teams that could work on different games at the same time but I'd be shocked if they bypassed a sequel.

Nope as in even god doesn't know.

The Crytek Kingdoms thing is big and maybe those Japanese games they showed once other than that they've been building up first party teams at their HQ it seems. Close to home so things don't spiral out of the control on the other side of the world.

A few years ago, all EADs used to be awesome. Today, only EAD Tokyo is.

Yep, that is what i heard. It is an FPS game with modern setting or something like that i think. Don't know shit about it but i am pretty hyped about it. I just love KZ' s cover system and gunplay. Also i think KZ2's AI was pretty underrated. I wish they developed a tactical FPS game. It could be really great with their cover system and gunplay. Anyway, probably they will develop a CoD clone.

Good Science Studio has been working on something Kinect related, the head of the company has tweeted about Project X. This was backed up some ex-Zipper designer who now works at Microsoft.

We have not heard about the fabled Firebird studios, I think those guys are working on FLIGHT.

Weird listing have popped up: a new studio in Vancouver and a family oriented new studio?

I hope Sony is supporting Ready At Dawn on a launch window NGP title (not God of War, just... anything). Those guys have more than proven themselves and should frankly be a key team for the NGP efforts.

The SCEJ Project Siren team better be working on a new Siren game. I would prefer if it was for NGP with a large embrace of its controls and 3G connectivity.

I love Ready at Dawn but I read somewhere that they wanted to quit the handheld business and move on to the consoles.
