Yeah, no question at this point. Not just saying that as a Bostonian, there's just really no metric that you can use that doesn't put him at the top.

I don't like that he's a Trump fan, but at least he kept that quiet and pro athletes aren't exactly known for their intelligence.
 
I'd put Brady over Montana now, and both of them over Manning.

With Montana you could argue that Jerry Rice made his job easier. With Brady you could argue that Belichick made his job easier. In both cases, however, they would have been exceptional on other teams as well.

For how much this forum decries racists like Trump/Bannon/Spencer, the fact that Brady is closely affiliated with Trump isn't something they'll forget, no matter how much he achieves. And the only reason people are even bringing up politics is because Brady brought himself into it. Just speaking as not even a casual fan of American football

um what, atlanta is ranked like 25 in terms of total yards on defense, they are actually one of the worst teams on defense in every category. what are you on lol

As a non NFL fan, I saw lots of hate everywhere directed toward the patriots and specifically tom Brady. What was that about? Simple jealousy?

Lets be real for a monent, even if we all collectively agree that 5-2 > 4-0 Brady and the Pats dynasty will always have an * between deflate and spy gates. Its on their resume and will never go away. If you're willing to look past it and say they would have gone 5-2 even if they hadn't been caught fine, but if I have to split the difference 1 extra win doesn't offset the 2 loses and caught cheating twice. Its why montana will always be the goat for me.

Nah, I've gotten very used to being exposed to #AlternativeFacts. People thinking Brady isn't a cheater is probably the least offensive variety.

Yeah, I believed he was before he won this 5th one, but now there is no doubt.

And for everyone who complain about his political affiliation or leanings just remember that pretty much all the great (white) Quarterbacks throughout NFL history whether John Elway, Joe Montana, Steve Young, Brett Favre, Peyton Manning...are conservative or Republican.

He was a good part of the reason that they fell behind by 25 in this game and had little to do with the numerous mistakes the Falcons had to make for a win to even be possible. He is a great QB, but I personally wouldn't take him over Montana in any scenario.
 
He's the best, this isn't a Lebron thing where it's actually debatable. Tom Brady is the best QB of not only our life time but ever.

You could've made the argument for Montana when both were tied at 4 (Free agency vs passer friendly rules), but since Brady has 5, yeah he's the best. Especially with the way he got the 5th one.

Brady can do this now with Super Bowl rings.
