To be fair...you'd be surprised by how many actual celeb scandals started off as blind items.

Still, most blind items are fake.

Yeah, there were rumors even back then that their relationship was a business transaction.

--It legitimized Bey in her bid to transition from lead singer of a successful-but-still-small-fry girl group to Pop powerhouse.

--Jay got to be connected to a girl who was many, many times out of his league. I got the baddest bitch in the game wearing my chain.

Jay and Bey was a match made in PR heaven. That being said, I don't know if I believe that there's no feelings involved at all. They clearly loved each other at some point. But I wouldn't be at all surprised by a divorce.

Yeah... no. Sorry still not buying it. They were both huge in the genres long before they tied the knot. Neither of them were struggling mid tier musicians like you all are trying to make it sound.

Honestly I do feel like there's a business element to their coupling but that didn't really come to fruition until later on. I do think they hit it off really well on set and legitimately fell in love and got married. I also think that their bond now is nowhere near as strong as it was, and that the reason their relationship has stuck around for so long is because of the empire they've built. They are, separately, the two highest-earning modern musicians in their respective genres. Put them together, and they're unstoppable. They both strike me as the insatiable types, so even though they never technically needed each others' power and money, they're always keen on building their capitol and brand.

Back in the beginning? Oh like when Destinys Child was setting sales records for a female group selling millions and millions? If anything Beyonce got all that money. Her dad was the manager of the group and the other girls got screwed.

Oh and Jay? He was only considered one of the greatest rappers of all time already and was one of the best selling rappers in the business. He already started his non music ventures.

But it was a pretty consistent rumor when they first started being linked together. That, and that Bey and Jay was an arrangement brokered by Matthew. The ultimate Kii....

That's true...

They can't win. Their relationship seems fine to me, I understand why they want privacy. The thing I don't like is Beyonce's focus on the "perfect" PR image. It must have pained her people to write that letter about their family being no different than anyone else's with respect to family disputes.
