Soma (Amnesia devs) website has some kind of weird metagame going on.....

New folders, pk3, 4 and 5, needs a new login, ireed no longer works.
also, can't seem to play the sound files anymore, though that might just be on my end?
 
Oh, thought this was over! I NEVER can get to these things when they start.
So, if I'm understanding correctly there's now 3 new Packages (pk3-5) but they all deny access so we need the password for the gask login?

Will try to catch up and help even if I'm not great at this.

I tried that, but the password can be longer. We had "whatisalpha" for admin.
I don't think it follows a pattern - like "admin" and "ireed" had 5 letters, but now "gask" only 4. It was a good guess though.

Nope no luck. Doubt I'm going to have any success either personally. The complexity of this has shot through the roof in the last couple days by the looks of it. Well out of my understanding.

I'm guessing it may be some variation of the letters and numbers shown above. I guess the next step would be trying every possible sequence of those. But that includes the possible upper or lower case letters there and all variations of that.

I'd like to just get back into anything at the moment. Without the password for user gask I can't get into anything anymore. Seems admin and ireed accounts were disabled. Probably what the Twitter was hinting at the time I guess. Currently at a complete dead end for now and I've exhausted practically everything I can think of. Even tried his fathers last words and dug to see if I can find a reference to his fathers name but nothing.

That should be teasing the "aventure game" they got going on inside folder pk4.
It's a text adventure. You only got one life. Limited supply of oxygen. There's a machine chasing you all the time.

Current commands are:

inventory- to check what you got with you
use <item name> - to use an item in a room or from your inventory
take/grab - to take an item from the room into your inventory
Compass directions take you to the room in that direction.

Yeah just found that. Also jumped out of my damned chair scanning the pk5 directory. Not sure I actually want to fire this one up though until I know what I'm doing since you only get on shot. Trying to jump to another IP never worked on the last ones for me and I imagine it won't here either.

Can't I'm afraid. I had a massive load of the map unlocked then the bot killed me. No amount of VPN'ing will allow me into the site and it leaves me locked out. Don't know why but only some people can VPN back in, others can't.

Edit: Freaking knew it too! Beating the maze gets you a code. ARG!

Yeah it's been very odd. Only other difference that may be causing an issue is the browser. I'm on Chrome, haven't tried it on Firerox, but I've never had any issues like this before. Seems people in the thread at 4chan are having similar issues too. No solution so far though.

Actually we guessed it from that code we got a while back. Chucked it through a couple of the ciphers we already had and it threw out an unlisted Youtube video. Think it's actually a section from an old trailer of theirs.

Solved the VPN thing by the way. Use Yemen on Hola and it's way more reliable. Though I'm now questioning Hola a bit after reading something about them today and will be uninstalling the software asap.

Edit: Puzzle has been beaten. New folders have sprung up in pk3, there are hundreds now. Nothing from their Twitter though so it seems they may not be up in Sweden now. Guess we will see the results tomorrow unless there's more hidden in those many folders.
 
Using Blowfish Decryption, a guy over at /v/ managed to decypt qWxx.txt with the key from XXwQ.txt

The WAU has started to grow physically and begun to occupy a larger part of the room. All over the station structure gel is bursting pipes and bleeding through walls. It’s consolidating power, appropriating anything it can connect to. The heart has claimed such a large part of the room that there can no longer be any question to its heightened awareness. Not only does its expansion suggest an unexpected understanding of space, but also it's own physical manifestation within the world. I will admit that the expansion is worrying. I suspect we will be having an "interesting" period of time ahead of us as the WAU tries to test its limits, both at Alpha and across all sites through the connectivity of the structure gel.

I'm guessing that could mean it might be the IGN First for June? Or just a site trailer, which makes a bit more sense.
