Someone is trying to hack my PSN...

Finally a positive my PSN got hacked thread. Two step verification is a life saver. But like others have suggested change your password and delete CC info.

Generally positive but the 'maybe' change your password is not good. people treat 2FA like magic but its just a safety net. *immediately* change your password and consider also changing your email address for that account

It's your PS3 probably in standby trying to log into PSN after you enabled 2FA (which isn't supported the same as on PS4). Gotta generate another password for it using that link.

Or just disconnect your PS3 so it doesn't try connecting all the time.

Do you have a PS3 that you recently signed in?

Because sometimes it sends you like a million verification messages.
Yea I think it is my PS3! But she's at my mom's all the way across town and she won't touch it.

Thanks, I'm relieved 😌

So you set up a password and then you just have to remember it? It's a one time thing for those two? Couldn't someone just brute force that?

For PS3 and Vita you have to generate a device password. That password is only used for the first login from one of those systems. Afterwards you can just used your regular PSN password.

I don't mean to bring this thread back, but I almost got hacked this morning.

Got a bunch of verification codes from Sony so luckily I had 2-step on.

However, I want to change my password but in order to log in I need a verification code. They are not sending me a verification code because "I've" tried to access the system to much. How long does this last?
