You know what ruins the black knight OST for me? that some of the music was in Black Dawn for ps1/saturn and it's the exact same stuff, not even re-written, and since I use to own that game and play it a lot hearing it in a sonic game just seems so wrong that it's off putting.

The black knight mix is actually in Black Dawn as an alt mix if I remember right.

You weren't kidding. :lol I'm used to the "Oh that sort of sounds alike" junk from the Cloudbush thread, but that's pretty blatant. At least it's still good music.
 
Its sad that so many people believe those are the actual tracks too :lol

Whats worse are the crazy comment the guy is getting on his channel.

This is too minor to make a thread over, but still worth sharing.

Sonic Colours – Seven Things You (Probably) Didn’t Know…

Hi guys, well its Friday – and I’ve been enjoying playing myself a bit of Sonic Colours, an early build mind you but still very nice on the eye. I’ve not got as far as I’d like to because gosh darn it people keep expecting me to do “work”. I know it’s incredibly inconsiderate isn’t it? Hmmph. Anyway, there’s a great many little details here and there I’ve seen during this time that you might be interested in so I’m going to do a little blog here and there when I can just revealing the odd titbit of information.

So here they are -

1) Dr. Eggman has built his park after developing a sense of remorse for his past “indiscretions”. Hmm… a likely story.

2) At one point in an early cutscene Sonic “breaks the fourth wall” and talks directly to the gamer.

3) SA-55, the round red robot also known as “Ergo” by fans who appeared in Sonic Unleashed will return, but slightly more jaded than before. Oh and by the way SA-55 ISN’T his name… his name is actually “Orbot”

4) Orbot also has a counterpart this game… who we’ll be revealing next week.

5) Tails’ “Miles Electric” handheld device that appeared in Sonic Unleashed makes a re-appearance.

6) The boss you have already likely seen from Tropical Resort Dr. Eggman refers to as the “Big Boy”.

7) The curly haired white Wisp is important to the Colours story and its name is…. something you’ll have to tune in next week to find out!

And if there's any complaints about #2, just remember that Sonic was one of the original fourth-wall breakers in video games.

Considering that 2-5 are all things that were also in Unleashed, I'm going to take a wild guess that the wisp in #7 is really the Light Gaia of Outer Space.

The "Miles Electric" thing was on the loading screens of the HD version (possibly only on the 360 IIRC), and SA-55 was the only official name fans could scrounge for that Egg-shaped robot the Doc talked to, I think off some concept art.
 
2 player looks rather cool, I like how at the end of the 3rd video the red sonic homing attacks the blue to make him stunned :lol

Ok, Sega, the one thing you absolutely do not need to resurrect from the classics is switching the music over to the invincibility theme for Super Sonic, or in this case, wisp powers.

I'm getting a real Splosion Man Co-Op vibe from the first of those videos, certainly a bit strange for a Sonic game but it looks quite good fun.

No actually it doesnt, and your name should be taken away because you obviously don't deserve it. at all. Also the 4th wall part is pretty neat since he hasn't done it since the early days, there you go I have one positive thing to say about this train wreck.

lol your are not here to judge if i deserve my name or not . ( at least i am not the one who said Namco should takeover the virtua fighter IP :lol ) yeah you really know what are you talking about!

if you have anything to complain about the game just go straight , no need for this personal talk .

Thats how the main theme should be worked into the game. I actually caught myself tapping along to it.

My upload of all three in 856x480 in one.

God fucking dammit it was a fucking headache to do this properly.

I first used Windows Movie Maker to merge the vids after I converted them to avi as it didn't accept mov.

After uploading it, I realized that the framerate took a big hit, this happened to another vid I tried doing a week ago but gave up trying to work on it.

Anyway, I kept trying to find and use a good video merger, all the while my PC kept fucking up.

So finally after so many mess-ups and headaches I got free working program and got it working and uploaded again, properly this time.
