Comment from the 2nd pdf:
In the consumer business, although the Group launched multiple titles including “Football Manager 2014” and “Sonic Lost World” in the packaged game software field, sales were low due to the harsh market environment.
I'll be honest, that's better than I expected. I expected 500k as of now. I mean the US sales as of Dec according to the NPD were 179k, and sales were not looking any better in other places.
I don't know what the sold to shipped ratio is, but it might be too big of a gap, I doubt they shipped 640k day 1 worldwide.
Also the comment is nice since they blame the market (which to me is competition), rather than the low install base of Wii U, which makes sense since the 3DS version isn't selling much better, a bit, but not that much. So perhaps in competition that could be the launches of PS4 and Xbox One, or perhaps competition on Wii U which of course would be Super Mario 3D World. (Edit: Nevermind, it was referring to sales of their consumer games as a whole, not just Lost World. Thank you L-A ).
However, the game combined did less than 30k first month in the NPD, and since it went on to sell 179k in just two months, I think that's not too shabby.
