Bought 3 already and none worked properly with my DS4. I'm a dumbass, I know.
I think this should work.
Damn sorry to hear. Have you tried an extension cord? This will give you sufficient power to the dongle

Ugh Sony is really getting annoying with all this. Just release PC drivers so we can use it wired/wireless over BT in anything. I guess wired will be the only way to use it in Remote Play/PSNow (which I'm super glad is coming to PC) if I don't want to shell out $25 to buy a glorified single-use BT adapter (when I already own one). Maybe DS4Windows will get it working over BT in RP/Now one day.
I use https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007GFX0PY/?tag=neogaf0e-20 with an extension cord (it just rests atop my case) and I've used it with 4 controllers in DS4Windows at once, works fine.

I thought everyone liked the Xbox Elite controller better.
Thanks. Bought it just now. Crossing my fingers hehe.
Oh yeah? Can you share a link to a guide / video? Thanks. It's super easy to pair a DS3 or DS4 with a Mac. Don't need any third-party drivers, even.

Do they even do that for Xbox controllers?Awesome! I really hope more games start putting in the PlayStation button graphics, too.
Not everyone has (compatible) bluetooth in their PC? Believe it or not, there are products in this world that are made with other people in mind than just you.Why would I even need this at all? DS4 works via Bluetooth already. I wonder if Sony will just publish drivers I could get?

Thanks a lot.http://www.macworld.co.uk/feature/mac/how-use-ps4-controller-with-your-mac-3626259/
For wireless, you literally just put the DS4 in pairing mode and pair it in Bluetooth preferences. Works fine in OpenEmu and Steam in-home streaming, from what I've tried.
As someone that uses standard bluetooth and a DS4 very regularly this ... really isn't an issue. Turn your controller off when you're done playing.
I've had PS3 controllers that have sat out for literally years without a charge and they work just fine once recharged. Is this a different story with the DS4?
It's also like $150 and is no good if you want to use the Claw finger position since the D-Pad's underneath rather than above the analog stick.I thought everyone liked the Xbox Elite controller better.

I seriously doubt you have controllers that sat uncharged for years that still work.
Is this X-input?
You can use it wirelessly with a PS3, but the PS button still won't work.I wonder if this will help with using the ds4 on PS3. Or is that never going to happen?
Oh, but I do.
I don't use the PS3 as frequently as I used to but when I do I just grab a controller from the box, and charge it up. Some of these haven't been used for literally years.
24.99? Jesus.

Is this a joke?
I mean a single standard bluetooth stick can connect up to 4 devices (DS3, DS4 and PS3 Movement controller) wirelessly and with xinput support.
They work flawless in any game I've tried that work with 360 pads.
The only good thing about this are the drivers which are going to be repurposed and enhanced by the controller driver community.

(one of the DS3 is the PS3 Movement Controller)
SCP? Oh man I'm so glad to see other people using that amazing software!
Why can't this just work with built-in bluetooth?
Nah. With the DS4s battery, I'd rather just keep it plugged in.
My last Bluetooth dongle isn't supported by windows 10. Even when it was the fucking thing dropped connection every 5 seconds. What's a good replacement?
Apparently this one only supports one controller. :/This one, probably? If you're gonna fork over 10 bucks already I'd probably bite the bullet and spend a bit more to deal with less of a hassle.
I mean, the one that worked for me was just a random well reviewed 10 dollar one from Amazon. I'll be sticking with that. But for people that have had issues or don't have one, I can see this being an attractive option.
What do you expect these drivers to do? The DS4 is plug and play. Games can support it natively. If your definition of "drivers"=Xinput support that is never going to happen because the DS4 violates so many of the licensing requirements.
You can also buy a $10 Bluetooth adapter.24.99? Jesus.

DS4Windows essentially makes the DS4 the best comfy couch PC controller. Only bad thing about it is there is no DirectInput support over bluetooth.
Sad you have to post this in every thread related to DS4 on PC.
To all the driver whiners. The DS4 has drivers. They are direct input drivers. An API that MS depreciated in favor of xinput so they could standardize their controller and their controller layout to be the defacto PC standard. Take a look an every single xinput controller on the planet and you will notice that they all have the same basic button nomenclature and color scheme. Why would sony make xinput drivers for a device that doesn't comply with the xinput spec?
