Nah, Nintendo got better since Switch launched, they published Xenoblade 2, the ultimate waifu bait JRPG.
Dead or Alive also got less censored in Switch version.

I guess people should really get a grip as to what's more tolerable in your culture, in this part of the world......You won't see eyes wide shut playing when more kids are tuned in as opposed to Rambo...... Even growing up, one of my local channels had something called "kung-fu theater", but they always censored or ff'd the sex scenes because kids would be watching kung-fu at 1pm......I don't think anyone complained but laughed it off, because you watch kung-fu for the fights and beat downs anyway. And if kids specifically wanted to go smut hunting out of curiosity, they did fashion catalogs, playboy swank mags or got to daddy's hidden porn stache. Let's be honest, it's so easy for kids to get access to the real thing nowadays, in more vivid form too, but no parent is going to say, hey, give us more sex in our games and neither would a company with an ever expanding demographic push sex just as before and not curtail certain content in this current climate, every outlet is extremely touchy on sex and sexuality atm. You don't want to deal with all the noise and its not like its affecting too many of your base, a sparse minority will complain, but the truth is, no anime nude game is selling GOW numbers farless GTA, they are very niche low selling games.
So it's simple, blame the ratings board that's entirely useless, or not even properly enforced or adhered to by gameshops or parents. If as an adult you want more sex in your games, that's fine, go to the platforms where it exists, but I'm willing to bet that most adults would be ashamed of being seen playing 1000 yr old vampires looking like 12 yr olds in mini skirts in various forms of undress, if ever their kids wife or wider family walked in, as opposed to something like GTA or GOW or even Mortal Kombat. I'm pretty sure fatalities are not a must, especially if your kids are around.....
Yet, let's ask some real questions. Why aren't more publishers pushing or creating more AO content, Where are all the multi million selling AO games? Are games which skewer to see themed all that popular? Truth is, If Sony allowed AO games, the kids would get to play them just the same and Sony would get a million lawsuits. So pay no attention to those people saying they are iron clad and they can regulate their kids content, "I mean really" because you are with them 24 hrs a day, when they're with their friends and a new account or digital library where purchased content can be authorized by a simple "accept or decline".... What's your age? Come on now..... No matter what you're thinking, there is always a way around it and the kids are smart, you know very well how we bypassed stuff when we were kids...
So Sony says, no AO, because when a kid plays this on playstation and they no doubt will, Sony will be sued out the wazoo..... When they are constantly bombarded by all these puritan movements, parents, lawsuits and even potential schemers, don't you think they have a right to take a stance, some of us really have to look at things both ways. Did you really buy a playstation for titillation? As an adult can't you get that elsewhere? I'm not against sex in games, not at all, but we have to be honest, kids do get access to these games and that's the issue...... Japanese anime games with heavy sexual titillation would always be targeted, it was a slightly different climate in the PS3 days, but things are not the same at this point in time........ Things are touchy, people are touchy.... So many stories of abuse and accusations, people are trying to target a source of blame just as they did in the 90's with video games and violence at the rise of mounting crimes and violence in the inner cities. Let things die down at least. Adults can't be that famished by some polygonal tail that they can't see through this with a balanced head and rationalize this properly.....Seeing a couple of polygonal privates is not more important than all the abuse and sexual predatory behavior taking place or if people would assume that some of the games encourages or enables such mindsets..... And, I'm not talking about DMC.
They don't wanna mess up those free games sony sends them via digital codes to push onto their subscribers.

After i read the entire article i understand Sony decision.
Playstation have become the global brand, biggest console in this gen, so they have to worry about today political climate.
With the rise of Social Justice and #Metoo movement, Playstation brand could be targeted by those movment.
I wouldn't boycott Sony entirely, this just mean i'm gonna relied more on Nintendo for Japan title.

Nintendo out of all hardware makers seems a-ok with blood and nudity. If anything, they should the ones always most concerned about family fun image. Yet they don't care. And nobody seems to be making a stink.
So if Nintendo isn't getting flak, Sony likely won't either.
All of the SJW issues are aimed at game makers messing with content. I don't remember seeing any criticism aimed at MS, Sony or Nintendo.

It was already too late when we first heard rumblings about Sony's censorship policy hitting Senran Kagura Re:Newal back in October. Best thing we can do if we want the policy to be gone is to not buy the PS5 and PS5 games.

Or buy them used. Sony won't get any profits from used purchases, including the console. Best time to look for consoles is around May and December, when parents sell their kid's consoles for being little shits.

Nope. If it was about fear of "pedophilia" the games wouldn't pass ESRB or be allowed for sale in the US. They certainly wouldn't be on the Nintendo Switch or PC either. It is all empty posturing by a bunch of incompetent imbeciles trying desperately to destroy a company.

I've definitely been called a pedophile - several times, in this very forum - for liking anime games. But that label doesn't actually come with the difference of behavior that would come from thinking someone was an actual pedophile. Nobody is going to go, "Eww, you pedophile" and then engage in about four pages of discussion about it. Nobody tried to get me banned. Nobody stopped talking to me. I didn't suddenly have an entry on Kiwi Farms. And I think that's awful. If you are going to label someone else a pedophile, that is a really serious accusation. There should some conviction behind such a life destroying claim, and there should be a reason beyond just disliking the entertainment they enjoy. It's just an attempt to use social peer pressure to get people too afraid to engage in the discussion. Who wants to risk being called a pedophile, even when the claim is totally toothless? Nobody. Though it is important to note that CERO also has its issues, such as the lack of gore in many of the titles.

In my move regarding censorship is not good move to the game itself it will remove the personality of characters that created by its creators it's like senra kagura creator the reason why he left or doesn't accept policy of censorship or removing content that part on censorship.....due it will hurt the personality of characters or even itself due the ecchi or pervertness is part the game itself.......
Don't forget some players asking on those swimsuit or ecchi moments on creator mostly will be hit on this censorship due their favorite girl doesn't have limelight or appealing why they like girl itself..........
On rdr2 if you remove or censor that nekkid girls mostly it will lose it immersion or realism on game itself meanwhile on dmcv why they are nekkid it's simple reason really..it's easy leech power on those girls due clothes are acting as protection

On PC you can buy such games from Japanese digital stores.
Eg Yohjo Simulator is heavily edited on Steam compared to the Dlsite version. Despite not featured any graphic content at all. All reactions came from implications about a glitch and having naked men in their underwear running around. Male nudity mattered this time and on Steam they dressed them with t-shirts.
Unfortunately western publishers have lost the game long ago

In this matter I guess there will be mostly the following types of people who currently support PS:
- Dislike this censorship and will actively protest and make noise about it in social media and will not support PS anymore.
- Dislike this censorship policy and will not support PS anymore but won't do anything else actively about it.
- Dislike this censorship policy but will still buy some PS stuff if they really like it a lot i.e. only reduce their support but not fully abandon it.
- Do not care about this censorship policy and will continue doing what they were doing.
- Like this censorship policy and will continue doing what they were doing.

I don't think there will be enough pressure to really make them feel the impact on a financial level. Sony's userbase is huge, and many of them won't even know or hear about this, so they will do just fine. I hope they reconsider their decision, but at this point I don't personally believe there will be enough outrage to change anything.

1. Multiplatform releasing could end up the game underperformed due there is no options like it's other version like it's PC or other consoles has it thus it's future sequel could be not release on this console
2. Some parts of the stories could lose it due censoring that could lead problems to the game story or setting even gameplay issue
3.its Girl a.k.a Waifu material issue your favourite girls has censorship that could major turn off on game itself
4. Some users Censorship is bad instead better Parental Control system app that could use to better security for their children
