Cut out all the Move stuff from last year and K. Butler, and you've come in well under 90 minutes. They've really only got to talk about NGP and PS3 this year, no way that requires more than 1.5 hours.

It is quite cool watching the montages for the announcement of games that are kinda cool but aren't big enough for their own bit.

I don't get it either. I think montages are one of the best ways to get a lot of games who wouldn't normally get much coverage during E3 (because of bigger games) some time in the sun. Most sites will be busy covering CoD/U3/Gears 3/Battlefield 3/NFS/Cafe/NGP and anything aside from that will have very little coverage if it's not shown, even in montage form.

The only Sony/Coke thing I can remember from the past year is the Move console bundles they handed out over at the My Coke Rewards site late last year.

That was just them pushing Move. I expect EA to show the first console footage of BF3 at Sony's conference and maybe NFS: The Run (Sony doesn't have any racing games to promote this year like they did last year with GT5). They'll also show their PSP2 lineup.

lol, Sony just can't win. They announce a 90 minute press conference and it's too short. They have a two hour press conference and it's too long. Whatevs....

I really like the Playstation Blog coverage. I'll be hitting that up when it's on.

Well they can always go longer, maybe?...120 PS3's + NGP stations...hopefully that furthur cements US release of NGP this year.

Hopefully the special performance is Beyonce, since she is a legendary millennial icon of our generation, and most importantly, a Sony artist.
