I'm seeing a few people online on their PS4 right now on my friends list. Hopefully it's improved in the last few hours.

Ugh really annoying trying to download stuff right now. I will get a small burst of speed then it will slow to a crawl again.taking forever to download this killzone patch

I expect them to be prepared, it's not like they haven't had millions of people downloading stuff for their PS3's at the same time.

My buddy and I had good luck between 3-6AM CST but it's impossible to do most anything now. He keeps getting the error reporting thing too, mostly when he tries to create an origin account for battlefield.
With the servers down I can't even access BF4 single player, not sure if it's connected or not, but BF4 is unplayable for me right now. It keeps coming up corrupted data and send me to an error report for Sony
That's odd. I have one person on my friends list playing BF4 in SP and one playing it in MP. I wonder if it's a regional thing.

I honestly don't see how they could be overwhelmed by this. How many people actually have PS4's and are using them on their network right now? 500,000 maybe?
That's not asking a lot for a network that should be built to support millions of concurrent users. For example, I would think a firmware update for the PS3 would incur far more network traffic for them compared to this launch.

I have access to single player again, after I deleted and re installed game from scratch. But there is no point in trying it as there issues with it corrupting all your single player data, have had it happen 2 or 3 times already.

I'm downloading the 1.50 update now. I have 16 minutes to go. It has taken about 75 minutes or so. Is it better once 1.50 is downloaded?

I had a feeling this would be the case. Can someone link the 1.5 update that can be downloaded and installed via USB?
My plan is to keep everything offline, download and update via USB from my PC to PS4, and then establish the network connection last.

Now im getting error e-80411302.
Been stuck on the "please wait" screen for the past 15-20 minutes. Also, I'm so glad I downloaded the update beforehand. It would have taken me 111 minutes to download it via wifi on the PS4. I was not going to spend two hours downloading an update that took me two minutes to download on Wednesday.

PSN is running great for me this morning.....I'm downloading stuff, messaging friends, I'm not getting any errors or maintenance messages.....

That's weird. Console came about 20 minutes ago. Update took 16 minutes. Probably should've loaded it onto a USB but I didn't care enough to get one.
I expected this to be honest. If it's a separate entity altogether, then i imagine they're just now seeing what it's like to have hundreds of thousands of people log on at once, then when they balance that out (hur hur), you have west coast coming in, then afternoon folks who didn't call out of work or school to play...it's gonna be a rough time.
Wish my Knack was delivered this week, but I got the SF Bundle and It's physical copy so I've got that to hold me over.

Restored my defaults and it finally logged into PSN! Glad thats over. BF4 time.

Its working now on my end. Downloading KZ and COD on my brothers console.
I waited. Only time I tried again is when it told me server connectivity error.

Anyone play Ghosts split screen online? Does the second player have to sign into their PSN account? Normally, you just press X and you're in but the PS4 wants my buddy to sign in.
