I dunno if I'd re-buy a PSP for the enhancements it provides, but as someone who hasn't gotten one, the whole idea that I'm paying for not enough features, I could see me getting it.

Most DS owners bought a DS Lite. The difference was much bigger than PSP2000 vs PSP3000.

Basically! I wish they added maybe a 3-8GB HD and held back on the screen improvements. I have my PSP 2000 and I don't think I will upgrade my one. Also, didnt USA get the PSP white??

Not so fast. The camera is perpendicular with the new psp - that alone would reduce glare. I'm not so sure this image is a true representation - I'd rather see both setup identically in seperate photos.

That said - twice the response time would be fantastic!

In Japan,the support is good especially from Square Enix.
In the west,it's kinda dead with only Sony supporting.

There is a fairly damn good back catalogue of games for it.

Liking the look of the new PSP but unless CFW can be put on it I'm not interested.. Case of wait and see I guess. I have two Phat PSP's and an S&L to tide me over anyways

Wow at the comparison pic if it's not some sleight of hand. Even so, I have a phat and slim and don't see any of the new features justifying a new purchase. The current screens look great and while I do have SkypeOut, I don't use it all that often with my cell phone sitting on my hip 99% of the time.


If they dropped a PSP-3500 with Camera and GPS built in for $249-299, I'd be all over it.

SDHC Micros, or MS Micro M2s (both need appropriate adapter of course). The latter is not as cheap as SD, but cheaper then DUO and still has magicgate.
