Sony threatens Twitter with legal action if it doesn't ban users linking to leaks

I guess Sony should also sue like every news outlet in the world for reporting on leaked info.


Sony isn't suing for reporting the news, it's suing for linking to the actual hacked content. This would be like the Verge reporting a movie has leaked, and then lining to the actual movie ISO (oh wait, that's kind of what happened in part here lol)
 
Twitter won't even ban people for posting thinly veiled death threats.

The personal information (SSN's and Medical history) should certainly be a bannable offense, but they won't do it.

Instead employees should take a legal action against Sony. I'm not even sure why Sony is even bothering with these ludicrous warnings against news outlets and social media. As if anything is going to happen.
