I wish they would release a US demo. I'm on the fence here.

Promised impressions from yesterday's Red Sun Gamer SS Multiplayer Party!
Playing with 2-3 friends is even better than in the demo, mostly because you don't have to repeat the same 4-5 quests again and again.
We've fought harpy and cleared the whole chapter 2 of the Avalon quests, so yay us. Most of the fights were easy, although the first Centaur fight and the Jack o Lantern x2 fight gave us trouble. The second one especially, blocking 2 rolling bosses is no easy task, especially when some of your party members (Jonnyram, DJMizuhara, I'm looking at you two ) are underleveled.
Multiplayer was lag-free despite the fact that both RyougaSaotome and me were using pretty bad wifi connections. As for everyone worrying about the latency, you can stay calm. I've played the demo with the RSG mates/randoms who were in Japan from Europe and it was lag free as well.
One big gripe I have with the game until now is the lack of enemy variations. Sure, we have Gold Goblins, Booze Goblins, Poison Goblins and a few types of Orks (+Spiders and Crows), but I hope later quests will bring new ones. I'm kind of tired of killing the rat/cat fodder again and again.
That said, each new boss 'type' (since there are elemental variations of those as well, it seems) is a huge challenge and great fun. And there are a lot of those.
Last but not least, some screenshots (both from the demo-prologue and the full version). Mostly from my single player adventures, as I was constantly forgetting to take screenshots during the 3-4 player quests (Ryouga took a lot, so you'll have to wait for his sshots):
That's what I thought yesterday after almost dying to take a cool screenshot, because I had to take both my hands of the buttons.sounds really awesome. this is the kind of thing that makes me wish vita had a share button.
I don't think there's any doubt about SS improving Vita situation, at least in Japan. Will it become something like MonHan? That's a though question, the theme may not appeal to the same crowd, but there's a ton of multiplayer content, so I believe it may have strong legs.Same can't wait to play this game =P, btw question for those who have played the game? Do you think this game have potential to have it own legs or improve Vita situation?
One of the best parts of the game, really climatic. I thought that it was good in the demo, but there's so much more in the full version. So how is that music? Anything really standout? Does it add to the gameplay experience at all?
Sounds awesome, will pick up when it comes out in NA.Those damn NPCs. Just did one of the sidequests, saved the NPC at the beginning and during the fight, died near the end myself and got sacrificed. At least we killed the boss, but that wasn't nice at all.
Love the AI in this game - don't trust anyone.
2 screenshots from the said fight:
really want vita to be successful in jp( i own one and i want more games on vita!!!!)
let's hope this game is the new monster hunter for vita.
Price and the exact release date is unknown.

This made me laugh so hard.By February you mean April right? Hahaha.
IT'S NOT JUST ME.
Haven't checked it myself, but I ALWAYS roll when burned in games. It's common sense, right? "Stop-drop-roll"One thing I've noticed is that when people get burned, they start rolling around. I did the same thing in the demo, but I've wondered - does it really help? Also, is there a good reason for being able to hit your teammates?
I don't know if this feature was in the demo, but if your teammate is debuffed, you can suck it in and power yourself up by approaching him/her and holding X.Can you help a burning teammate by hitting him with an ice attack?

You get new clothes as the game progresses, but I'm not expecting 20 outfits in the end anyway. How is the character customisation in the full game? It looked pretty limited in the demo but that was to be expected.
And if Siliconera's translation is right (can't find the original article), those are not even the final forms of those modes.
This sounds so good, thanks for these impressions. They're keeping my personal hype alive! I want it >.<Promised impressions from yesterday's Red Sun Gamer SS Multiplayer Party!

Those preorder bonus magicks are just powered up versions of regular magicks, right? Or are they actual exclusives?
strange that the monster that was in the game first patch of screens is now DLC....
Are we getting a new RSG with some talk about SS...?
How does this game seem from a purely single player perspective?
I'm going grocery shopping. Stay online for a few hours so I can catch a glimpse. ;-)
