I was totally expecting a Rick Roll during Kyle's speech at the end, but was let down.

The rest of the episode was crazy-awesome, though. :D

Wow, fucking brilliant.

And they also managed to sum up why I personally felt the strike was quite ill-advised.

Classic South Park on all levels.

that guy friend buddy thing was the best :lol

So was seeing Butters in that video all of a sudden, epic :lol

I kind of liked the parody Kyle speech, plus the canadian who's on first deal.

At first I was afraid Butters doing the Samwell video was going to be another case of them pulling out a 2 year old internet fad as the basis of an episode (like the Wing one years ago) but that was a pleasant surprise.

:lol the fact that people are still here saying how much this episode sucks just proves that you can't please anyone.

Holy shit. I needed that good hard laugh. :lol

I was rolling.

What what in the butt. What what in the butt.

Well done guys.

The Canadian shtick alone made this episode, for me. Just great, great stuff.

Didn't really feel the YouTube references, though (other than the Butters/Samwell thing, which was obviously mindblowing).

I chuckled at the fat guy doing the disco song, but lol'ed that they got the gopher in there.

Chocolate Rain: "Time to die, gopher!"
*gopher does turn and look*
"OH MY MIND!" *head blows up*
:lol

Yeah... I didn't really care for this one. The Canadian episodes never were my favorites, and the YouTube gags kind of made me cringe.

I've liked the rest of this season so far, though.

what the hell is up with south park not liking family guy?

why doesnt family guy make fun of south park?

that what what in my butt (the actual video) is completley retarded.

1. South Park (and lots of other cartoon writers) hate family guy for being low-brow humor that appeals to nothing but pop culture. Family Guy is basically, to them, the Epic Movie of cartoon shows.

2. Family Guy doesn't care. Seth whats-is-name is rolling in dough... you think he cares much if people think he's legitimate? "You don't like me? Huh? Sorry, had this $100 bill in my ear. Want it? Take it. It's yours... there's plenty more where that came from."

Because family guy isn't funny?

By the way, this episode ROCKED. I laughed out loud when I saw the dramatic ground squirrel and then all the other YouTubers fighting. Damn.. so awesome.

That was high-larious. I can't believe I got all those references. I can't believe I thought those references were ancient.

I always smirk when a character yells out "That's not funny!".

Good ep, I was waiting for a Rickroll, but was disappointed when there was none.

I think if that were the case, Trey and Matt would be considered hypocrites because they often reference pop culture in their episodes - like tonight's with the YouTube stuff. The major difference is that they do it in a way that is relevant to the plot, as opposed to the typical "flash back" which references something in pop culture which has nothing whatsoever to do with the plot. In fact, most new Family Guy episodes lack any structure even resembling a plot.

He cared enough to make comments about the Cartoon Wars episodes on several occasions, including during his speech to Harvard grads.

Never heard of the chocolate rain, the basketball guys, and whatever that fat guy was trying to sing. :lol Butters.

I've liked all 4 episodes so far this season.

Wow this episode was hilarious. I've liked all four episodes this season. I'm happy they went back to the singing and dancing canadians. It reminds me of classic south park :lol

Awesome episode, not good as Major Boobage but still awesome to the max. And the replay value is so much higher on this one. I will watch it again.

I guess I'm in the minority. A bunch of overplayed YouTube fads in South Park form isn't that funny. (A speaking part from Bubb Rubb would have been nice, though.)

But the strike was alright and I always appreciate the Canada stuff. Let's hope they have another episode as good as Major Boobage this season.
