Rumor from IGN we already knew :

According to our tip, Microsoft is using the Spike TV Video Games Awards (VGAs) to introduce some big action games, including new titles for the Kinect. The headliner is Gears of War for Kinect, coming straight from Epic Games.

Kinect will be at the VGAs it seems, will Sony show something for the Move ? It will be interesting to see what happens.

Pretty sad if true. I was expecting based on that IGN rumor, which looks to be right on the Gears Kinect front for at least one other showing from MS. That rumor suggests at least 2-3 showings.

Yeah, I've no interest in Gears of War Kinect, so I hope Microsoft have at least 1 other exclusive to show. They had Crackdown 2 and Halo: Reach last year.

Maybe we'll hear something today, Geoff said that they'd have a great world premiere announcement today.

Even taking out the move/3rd party stuff this why MS needs to start lining up their 2011 content besides simply Gears. They really need some decent stuff before Fall 11 to fill the gaps. They had 2 first party and 2 third party exclusives up until Reach this year for comparison.

Yea never really expected much out of Rare post Kinect push and especially so after that last interview. It sounds like they got notta going outside Kinect. Kingdoms/Forza but that is about it really and I don't see those games dropping until at least year end 2011. Well at least that long for Kingdoms and I'd be surprised if Forza was any earlier.

Well there are basically 2 unknown titles left and while MS likes to remain secret about these things I kind of find it hard to believe at this point with Gears they are bringing 3.

If we're comparing 'core' line-ups, then PS3 has a ton and 360 has 1 or 2... Gears of War 3 and possibly Kingdoms. That's it, that's just piss poor. If they don't at least reveal one other game at the VGAs, I'll be worried.

360's next year sounds too much Kinect-centric as far as exclusives go and this most likely won't change - I hoped for some more announcements about traditional games but it seems that 2011 is gonna be the "we also have core titles for Kinect, buy it!" year for MS.

If Kinect didn't have the problem with the small-sized rooms I'd be ok - I don't have anything against Kinect as a hardware or as a control scheme but for some time I won't be able to get one because it won't simply work here...that's the main reason I'm so disappointed about all the upcoming very promising Kinect games (especially Project Draco).

Save Forza, and what looks to be a shopped out PGR can't think of a thing. Next Lionhead game is likely 2012 as well. Oh well and Crackdown 3, but got to be 2012 as well.

You're forgetting about Forza, a handful of third party games and TGS Kinect games which are also core titles. Of course, you might not be interested in any Kinect games, core or not...

Anything? New IPs, older stuff that we haven't seen on the 360 yet or sequels to earlier 360 games (Blue Dragon? Lost Odyssey? Halo Wars? Even - brace yourself - Too Human). It doesn't have to be something developed in-house, Microsoft loves collaborating with independents.
