Splinter Cell Double Agent Xbox/PS2 version is superior

It's a shame that Ubisoft had to split up the series like that. Especially with the PC version being based on the inferior Double Agent.

Definitely strange in a modern environment where multiplatform games are ported to every possible platform to maximize revenue. Would have made sense to stagger the releases and port the games to more platforms.

I picker up the PS2 version for emulation purposes, but haven't played it yet. Hopefully it isn't extremely inferior to the GC and Xbox versions.

I love both versions of the game honestly, though I still think I should give it to the next-gen version. I enjoyed sneaking around the JBA's headquarters a lot more in the 360 version than on the regular Xbox.

I just felt those were throwaway levels. The only level I can think of in that game that I truly enjoyed was the chinese new year one. It was one of the few levels that was actually set at night!

If I remember right it was a pretty big difference between the PS2 and Xbox versions, about the same as Chaos Theory.

It's true, and it's also crazy that so many people haven't got to play the OG Xbox version. The story is MILES better, however I think that both games are quite good.
