Nintendo thinks its cool.

He's Russian, though—guys got a right to be left with his cupola.

If it wasn't for Apollon airing in a few hours, I might've offed myself after reading Envelope's Bebop impressions. Such blatant blasphemy.

Lupin III - Mine Fujiko to Iu Onna 2

Another amazing episode. Holy shit.

And I'm actually getting used to the shadows/strokes. They're growing on me.

Jigen. Such a badass.

Lupin III: That Fujiko Chick 2

Another excellent episode. A great little self-contained piece of storytelling. Mesmerizing art. About half as much nudity as last episode.

I hope they can keep up this pace.

Bebop the Cowboy Episode the Second
What the fuck, I thought corgis were supposed to be cute

The setting for this episode was more reminiscent of Blade Runner, and consequently I enjoyed it more. There was also a lot more humor, and character in this episode.

IT CAME FROM THE SEA

Meet Muhamed Ali, the resident villain of this episode! You can tell he is bad because Bebop tries to kill him. The animation of this episode wasn't any where near that of the first, but otherwise I liked this one better. This episode was more lighthearted than the first, which allowed more of Bebop's character to show. He hates children and pets, but still has a soft spot in his heart for the little ol' corgi.

Bebop walking his pet cat

The setting itself helped carry the episode far more than the first. The chase scene through the city had a lot of local flavor to it, in contrast to the first episode, where the setting seemed more like an excuse just to have some western tropes put in there. The slight goofiness didn't feel out of place either, like the TV show for bounty hunters. Oh, and there were dumb dog puns all over the place, too.

Ahhh, that's better

Don't believe his lies. Why else would the show be called Bebop the Cowboy?

I knew I was right.

The Light of El Cantare
I think I played some part in this incident. Burn me as well.

I didn't think this would happen, I didn't want this to happen. ;_;

If it's any consolation, self-immolation is one of the most honorable forms of death. You'll be remembered fondly.

Throwing Envelope into the sun couldn't purify him of his sins, though. He's just going to have to live with his shame!
just like the rest of us

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - Live Alive

What a great episode.

The guitar animation was amazing, haha.

Kyon makes Haruhi a better person.

And now for the real stuff.

Casino Royale - In Space!

What's wrong with your faaaaaaaaaace

The animation is back! A noticeable improvement over the previous episode, just check out that gradient.

This episode, Bebop, who somehow managed to lose however many millions he made last week, decides to squander the remaining portion on BlackJack. However, Ms. Cross-eye needs to uncross those eyes, because in her book, these two are identical twins.

Of course, that's just an excuse for various stuff to happen so that Bebop the Cowboy can fire off a copy of the Macross Missile Spam.

Somewhere along the way, the shitty CG made a return.

But in the end, it all works out for Bebop, even though Jill Valentine escaped with the cash. However, he was unable to shake his gambling habit, and decides to spend his last poker chip back at the casino where it all began.

Lupin III: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine 2

The direction is bold as ever. As others have stated, I didn't find a scene that made me double glance due to misused shadow placement (not saying there weren't any for sure, but nothing that disturbed my viewing).

Heck, I enjoyed the use of it where
Jigen is laid on the couch that sits on chess colored floors, a nice cross reference with his past as when he played with his old boss. Shadow sketch surrounds him from both sides.

The eyecatches are cool as ever, enjoyed this episode overall and of course, as usual,

Jigen
is always a damn beast.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Part V

Huh. So Haruhi's
actually self-conscious and not simply crazy. These last few episodes really worked it out to humanize her.

Broadcast order's awesome. I like how they managed to make me interested in watching the events of Part VI
despite the fact that I already know that everything will be alright after them, since everyone's spending their time making low-budget films, playing strategy games, and doing live-concerts in the following episodes.

Well, a few people have been complaining about my Bebop the Cowboy posts, so I won't do it anymore. Sorry guys. :(

Naw, mayne. Disagree or no, It's all in good fun (at least I'm taking it that way).

Frowning resistance doesn't stop darkside and it won't stop Korra watchers when the time is nigh.
You are just as free.

Review if/how you want to!

So surely you agree that A Channel > Yuru Yuri?

Definitely.

Started Kimi ni Todoke yesterday. Can't believe this flew under my radar for so long.

Episode 1 & 2

I'm so glad Kazehaya isn't the typical cocky pretty boy who teases the main character, the fact that he's struggling with his own emotions makes me appreciate him so much more. The concept behind Sawako (Sadako - Ringu girl) is great, it's hilarious to see her giving her all to be social with her classmates only to have it backfire. And the music for the OP&ED? Fantastic.

I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it, it's a pretty fun shoujo.
