Yep. Google should have just stayed as a search engineNever trust in Google, they never commit to anything. Stadia as a platform will follow.

There's even a website of how many big projects they announced and almost immediately gave up on.Yep. Google should have just stayed as a search engine
Oh sweet summer child.
They are all connected to monitors, TV's and projectors.
If I am in the main room room of the house and there is a game/show/twitch on one of the TV's and someone is playing on the wall or the other TV I will play it on my phone. The games I play on those streaming services are not ones I would give my full attention to, I should have phrased it that way.
Did they ever actually put out any games
I'd say it's all the studios where she ends up working that are unlucky. She also seems to be very unlucky
And pretty
Yeah, there is a disconnect for sure. I can play the PC on any of the tv's in the main room, and I do. I just wouldn't make someone in the room with me watch it. They just don't seem like "watchable" games to me.ok I just almost threw up at the thought of playing a game on a projector...just thinking ahout the input lag
but ok, if you play it on your phone that's of course different.
which, could still work through your PC tho... just saying
The problem isn't investment, Amazon invested boat loads. The real issue is that these gigantic corporations don't operate in ways that let gaming studios flourish.Crazy how huge companies like Google, amazon or even apple just don't get gaming.
They want a slice but aren't willing to invest in producing their own content.
I kinda feel sorry for her, imagine getting hired, working on something for years then leaving the company after delivering absolutely nothing.Jade Raymond is very overrated.
At least Xcloud will have exclusive content.![]()
Xcloud and Luna next in line.
Luna will be dead before end of the year, XCloud will last more since it has even Sony using it (Azure) and GamePass but it won´t be long.
If it weren't for Respawn, I would think developing quality software on any level was impossible at EA. From what I can gather, Google seems like they were just as difficult. She did zero at EA and zero at google
He quit defending Stadia long ago.Where is VoostKain?
Is she on OnlyFans?I kinda feel sorry for her, imagine getting hired, working on something for years then leaving the company after delivering absolutely nothing.
Now that's a project she could definitely invest on and be extremely successful!!Is she on OnlyFans?
Asking for a friend.
Except it probably isn't true and it's a terrible plan in the long run but, sure ok.Yes I can absolutely believe that.
You can buy exclusivity for far cheaper than you can build; particularly when you literally have zero experience making games.
Well, Stadia definitely 'stUd still' after she came in...Remember when Shannon Studstill left SSM for this with Jade Raymond and the "girl power" angle?

Using linux was a bad choice as well. At least Luna is using Windows.the AI behind Google decisions is kinda dumb
Leave Raymond and Harrison out of Sony and Playstation, they are cursed.Going to text my brother like:

Sucks tho for those devs. Poor Jade Raymond can't catch a break. Maybe she should call Sony and see if she can get something started there lol.
Xcloud app on smart tvs or bust.MS should buy their tech cause I'm tired of waiting for Xcloud on Windows.
Gaikai?! What an absolute shit that was, and yes PlayStation Now is shit as well. I tried playing GTA IV on PS Now a few years back and it was the one of worst experiences I have ever had playing games... complete rubbishSo essentially Stadia is done.
Ok so far that's now 3/3 dedicated streaming platforms that have bitten the dust (i.e. Onlive, Stadia and Gaikai). And even PS Now never really took off until they moved to the subscription model and added the option for local (non-streaming) play.
Hopefully everyone will now see that there really isn't a market for dedicated streaming platforms and that outside of the traditional gaming consumers, the demand for console gaming via streaming is pretty much non-existent.
Really paint's the picture that 2bln gamers MS keeps talking about (assuming they hope to reach them via streaming xCloud over mobile devices) is simply a pipe dream. As console gaming consumers they simply don't exist.
More than Microsoft. The Google Cemetery keeps growing.
Of course. Microsoft > GoogleMore than Microsoft.
Er... ok?!Gaikai?! What an absolute shit that was, and yes PlayStation Now is shit as well. I tried playing GTA IV on PS Now a few years back and it was the one of worst experiences I have ever had playing games... complete rubbish
Yep. Streaming ain't the future. All the streaming services suck as far as I'm concernedEr... ok?!
I guess the quality of the streaming experience is always gonna be part of it's appeal of lack thereof, but even xCloud and Stadia aren't providing experiences that are superior to playing on hardware in your own home.
Streaming is always going to provide an inferior gaming experience, no matter what the service is.
Totally agree.Yep. Streaming ain't the future. All the streaming services suck as far as I'm concerned
Yeah, they are the better of two evils.Of course. Microsoft > Google
