Goddamn the text is so small, I want to hook the 360 to my HDTV, but my brother insists that it is in his room hooked to a SDTV.
Why didn't they include the ability to change the text size like Vesperia?

Text drives me crazy. I can read it fine, but it bothers my eyes after too much of it. Someone needs to sit down next-gen developers and explain to them that while you CAN make text microscopic, it doesn't mean you should. Larger, sharp lettering would be a million times better 
There's something very awesome about using Rising Blade, then chaining Aura Spark to hit them right before they reach the ground.

Is the bonus board temporary? I'm playing again right now after taking a couple hrs break and my bonus board is empty(it was full before)!

The bonus board will reset when you turn your system off. To get the blue crystals for the board you need to finish off enemies with a critical hit, easy to do if you can blindside well. Dont know what to tell you about the corruption problem, no problems like that for me thus far.

Battle Trophy Spoilers
Looks like I need to hop on the synth-train. I still have Edge's first sword, could probably put together something quite nasty with all of the items I've accumulated(shame I couldn't synth some of the food I've collected to it. +30% ATK? Yeah sure)
Also I'm about to flip the fuck out on my allies. Last boss fight they just swarm this big thing that spams nasty area affects instead of letting me blindside it. Even Myuria's dumb ass was trying to melee it when she should have been spamming fairy heal all day everyday(Actually not even that. she just does regular heal which does me no good).
Now I could have just reloaded my last save and changed around my tactics but for some reason the save point was placed on the far end of the room. I just sort of stumbled into the guy without saving. =/

I'm kind of wondering. Since you get a 9th character and his trophies count towards the achievements. Wouldn't that leave me with at least 100 free trophies to ignore and still get the "100% Battle Trophies" achievement? Sure level 9999 is nice and all that but if I don't plan on using the character then no big deal right?

Has anyone beaten the game the second time and selected to keep Faize in their party rather than take Arumat? What does it affect in the ending?

Well, I played for about 4 hours, I just got done with the first dungeon, not sure about the dungeon being to long complaint. I spent 4 hours leveling,although a little short it is the first dungeon, but this BS its just amazing. The bonus board, special arts, combos everything is fucking awesome! I love getting pink BB's and not worrying about mp or healing really, I'm way over leveled at this point,(23) but o'well. I love to 100% the bestiary! The VA is not that good, well THAT LITTLE annoying girl 0__0 jesus m kaaaaay. Sooo annoying, can't wait to replace her! So far it's waaay better than SO3.

the cutscenes really suck. all the long pauses in dialog are annoying
and whoever fucking came up with lymle deserves a swift kick to the crotch
even when saving to a different slot? if you have an MU i'd try saving to it and see if it still fails

yes, even different slots fail. 120gb, game installed to the hd just for reference. Otherwise the game runs fine. I'm ok as long as i'm able to save period, just wondered if anybody else experienced the problem.
Where is the lady to charge the fire ring? can't seem to find her.
Does pickpocketing have negative consequences or go nuts on it?
I don't really mind the amount of save points (I thought it was pretty okay, guess I play for too long stretches of time), but Cardianon is quite long. 
The second song played here is great though.
She should be next to the hill in the middle of the village. Think she's reading a book or something.
I think pickpocketing can possibly hurt your relationship with party members.

So if you do happen to go through the whole game stealing like crazy you won't get any endings with your characters so you have to be extra careful and only do it sparingly.

Just got done with the first dungeon. Gotta say that I'm disappointed by the graphics. The dips in framerate outside of battles can get abit jarring after awhile.
Voice acting was not as bad as I was expecting it to be though- and there's definitely some decent humor in the dialogue

The one that closes if you try and get near? If so, there should be a console next to it that you have to destroy with your lightning ring.

uh, it's in one of the chests in that general area I believe. I'm not sure if it was in a frozen chest or a regular one, but it's there. Sorry, can't remember exactly which room it was. Also remember to charge it up at the the same console(near the sensor door) after you've destroyed it.

- equip a fully maxed Critical Hit skill
- equip or synthesize 'Increased Critical Hit rate'

I just started this morning and I want to confirm whether or not they ever use music during cutscenes. It seems so awkward that I'm almost wondering if there is a problem with the game (I'm playing using the install feature). Do they really avoid using music during all of the story sequences? If so, that's incredibly lame. The awkward dialog would seem much less so if they used music...

If I remember right, Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria did the silent cutscenes a lot too. It doesn't bother me terribly, in most cases, especially because, at least so far, the emotional tracks of the game I haven't found to be anything of note.dark10x said:

Yep...I'm playing on a 50" HDTV and like I mentionned quickly in another post,the whole scene on the beach where you meeet Faize for the first time,with the views of the sky and all was gorgeous...the first dungeon was nice also...the one on the second planet was too dark though but everything else is beautiful.
