Did a search, found nothing.

A Japanese site called 4gamer.net is reporting that the Star Wars Battle Pod arcade units (found at Dave & Busters everywhere) will be updated this summer with a Battle of Takodana mission from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The story is here: http://www.4gamer.net/games/333/G033376/20160215014/

The site also reports that a podless version of the game will be released in Japan in May — it hit arcades in the U.S. and Europe last fall. It uses normal flatpanel screens in a cabinet that you sit in front of.

Here's Bing's choppy translation:

Also this summer, Episode 4 – will be new stages relives the combat "battle of Taco Dana" from the latest "Star Wars/force awaking", in addition to the stage that takes place in 6 additional updates. This update is already running in "Star Wars: battle pod", a personal for sale in "Star Wars: battle pod / Standard Edition and Premium Edition also carried out, so fans are looking forward to wait.

The last part of that article seems to indicate that the super-expensive premium home versions of the Battle Pod already have been updated to include the Battle of Takodana.

For those who don't remember, the Battle of Takodana was about halfway through the movie in which Maz Kanata's castle/bar is being attacked by the First Order and Poe Dameron and other X-Wing pilots fly in to save the day (but Rey gets kidnapped by Kylo Ren anyway).

This is an alleged screenshot, although it looks more like concept art to me:

[edit] Here's Namco's Battle Pod website making the announcement. Its translation comes out a little better: http://www.starwarsbattlepod.com/ja/info/312

Awesome! Battle Pod is really fun, and it was only a matter of time before it got some cool TFA stuff.

This is pretty cool but did anybody else think that you sit too close to the screen in the battlepod? Its hard to tell what the hell is going on a lot of the time.

Love this game. Really nails the atmosphere and it's designed extremely well. Just wish we had something like this pop up on PSN/XBL as a smaller scale game.

You gotta keep your head on a swivel, just like a real Star Wars pilot, man

How did I not know this? There's a Dave & Busters fives miles from my apartment!

Sounds like a short trip is in order, friend. Just be prepared to spend a lot of your credits on Battle Pod ... it costs about $2 per play.
