More leaks are bound to happen with the Alpha starting tomorrow.


But here the first screen of the Main Menu from the Alpha

Some people are already looking into the Alpha files:

So from the last few minutes of looking at the files...ect i have been able to see and pull what we will be getting in this closed alpha to test.
First off i see that we will be getting both the Walker Assault on Hoth and the Wave mode (possible) or the Walker Assault mode on Tatooine.
Also for people wondering what the Frontend folder is in the levels folder that is the MainMenu.
Secondly i was able to pull these from the files a list of weapons in the Alpha.
Here is a list of weapons in the closed alpha that i was about get out so far via the weapons.sb file

EDIT:
It seems there is many many different types of Emotes in the game from when you are low health to general clapping.
It also seems there is a Dawn and Sunny versions of Tatooine making me believe time passes as you play on this map just like BF4 DawnBreaker.

I didn't find much of anything else other then the stormtroopers can be customized beyond what we seen in the trailer cause they have some kind of blueprint system but this may not be in the closed alpha.

It's not a server based alpha this is a technical test and has nothing to do with the servers atm well it may have a little but this atm is more or less testing how the game plays on pc.
Plus i found stuff in the files pointing to no server browser but a Matchmaking system just like COD.

It's a dig at Destiny, which currently has 4 emotes, Dance/Wave/Point/Sit. They are adding a few more in the collector's edition for the next expansion, and those emotes + a few other small things cost $20.

An emote in this sense is the character performing an onscreen action such as waving, fist pumping, dancing etc. when the player hits a corresponding button or key. Some fighting games have taunt emotes, other games such as Destiny have a salute and dancing emotes. My comment was a jab at Bungie's handling of their 3 new emotes which apparently will cost 20 dollars to obtain.

I only put FIFA ahead of Battlefront because I'm really not certain on how much draw Star Wars has outside the US. Either way it will sell many, many copies.

edit: and ya'll best not underestimate Fallout. Skyrim has sold over 20 million LTD. Bethesda put on an entire show at E3 more or less dedicated to F4. It's gonna be huge.

The BF4/Hardline Alpha's were also missing geometry and textures so people should reign in expectations not freak out when the game runs and looks terrible.

I love Metal Gear but Star Wars is way more recognizeable of a franchise and this is launching alongside a new movie and this game has EA's marketing behind it and will have "from the makers of Battlefield" on it. It's going to be huge and I expect it'll be a driving force for people to upgrade this holiday.

There was no Hardline Alpha. The game had too Beta's. And both had no unfinished stuff in it. Besides the a bit worse performance in the first beta, everything was the same until the final game.
