Wow this looks terrible on my TV with HDR on. So many pixel boxes where the lighting changes.
Any advice in how to fix this? It's been in other games before too. I'm absolutely sure it's my TV.

The DICE audio guys do not get enough awards for the work they do (though with this one I gotta give lots of props to LucasArts and Skywalker Sound as I imagine a lot was pulled directly from them) but man do they always manage to just nail the audio in their games.

It's weird how much worse this game looks than the first one. The CA bull shit needs to go. Looks like my screen is moving non-stop. Hurts my eyes.
Also im playing on PS4 Pro and there's no way these visuals are final right? Looked way better in the trailers. Some of these textures look almost unfinished sometimes.
The gameplay has been fun other than that. Need to play more but I'm liking it. More nuanced than the first.

Played 2 minutes. Just went from trying Witcher 3 ps4 pro to this. IQ is bad. Soft. , shimmers .... very disappointed
Hope for a ps4 pro improvement in the final one
It functions like the first game if you fully overheat your gun. Then you get a reload mini-game where you can quick flush (blue) or get a no overheat 5 second go nuts rambo style window after reload (yellow) or if you fail you need to wait for it to fully cool down.
They've just added a normal reload if you reload before your gun fully overheats.

There's a few things about this game that I really don't like.
-Chromatic aberration
-Vignette when zooming in
-No death count
-ELIMINATION flashing on your screen for fucking assists, what?
-Class system grenade loadout...Just let me pick the grenade instead of forcing me to use flash.
-The strike map is garbage, as are the spawns.
-The lack of music during gameplay, it was pretty prominent in the first game, it's lacking here.
I dunno, something about the game feels off, and just not that fun.

Yeah it looks really bad. BF1 too now as well since they added CA in the HDR patch (though not as bad as this).
I'm not paying £49 for this, pre-order cancelled, if I get it I'll get it when it's much cheaper.

Ill say this based on my limited playtime this morning, the CA and vignette effects need to get trashed. Theyre just completely unnecessary and ugly. At the very least, we need a toggle for all three platforms.

Any .ini tweaks on PC to get rid of the CA? There's an .ini workaround for the FOV slider at least

It's the IP of the server you are connected to, not your IP.
My friend and I had the same IP listed while playing together and live in different states.

Haven't played yet, i have my code to grab the beta for PS4 Pro tonight.
With that said, i'm hoping they comment on these initial graphic complaints some of you have. Keep in mind this is just a beta, and they'll hopefully use the time left to tweak things and plus im sure there will be a massive Day 1 patch as well that might address alot of this too.

Played a match and first thing i noticed is that resolution looks like a step back from BF1 on Xbox. Not sure if its actually running at the same resolution, but after getting a step up moving from 720p to 900p when moving from Battlefront 1 to BF1, this game definitely looks softer on an X1S.
That being said, i'm digging the classes, I like how the game queues you to respawn with a squad, and earning killstreak type vehicles feels pretty easy and its cool you choose it all from the spawn screen.

Maybe I just don't notice this kind of thing, but I am on the PS4 Pro with a 1080p TV.
No death count is fucking fantastic. I hope that they never let you see your KDR outside of TDM. That would be amazing.

There's a lot of graphical stuttering. Not sure if it's my internet since other games work just fine. Even online.

Are you playing on Ultra? I noticed that too, reducing to High seems to fix it.
It doesn't perform worse from what I've played.
And in terms of looks I find this to be easier to read.

They definitely did not add PS4 Pro support for this Beta.
Like many others have said...Battlefield 1 looks a whole lot better than this running on Pro with a 4K/HDR TV.
It'll be very interesting to see how the One X version runs as I have the game preordered for both systems. If this is all they have to offer on Pro I may cancel it....

Judging from what I've read here and from my friends it's almost like the game looks better on the original PS4 than Pro.
BF1's framerate tends to dip in the larger game modes too. I've noticed stutter on Theed but when it isn't stuttering it feels like a stable 60, whereas you can feel BF1 fluctuate quite frequently.

The post processing in this game is fucking offensive to my eyes. I turned it down to the lowest setting, and the terrible chromatic aberration and vignetting still stuck around. Who the fuck at DICE thought this was a good idea? Battlefront 1 was so clean. Why the hell did they use all these shitty filters in this game?
Other than that the game is fun. It's nearly impossible to play it with the default 55 FOV on PC, but it was a nice taste tester. I think I'll enjoy the full release. I just hope to god that DICE lets us turn off that fucking offensive Vignette and aberration filter.

I am really not liking this loot-box integration it seems needlessly complicated!
I loved the first game the BETA sold me the game and I put in hundreds of hours into it, I am glad for this BETA though as these, Assault, Officer etc (class things) options is something I really do not like at all, and the same if not more for loot-boxes, I am prepared to be disappointed by this BETA though :/

I know I already said this but I just played a round on Theed and I'm honestly just surprised because I played Battlefront 1 on Xbox, sold that and am now playing the beta for Battlefront 2 on PS4 Pro and it seems to seriously look worse than the first. I know it's a beta and all but I feel like the maps just look worse somehow. I can't put my finger on it. Maybe the texture work isn't as good. Or maybe they're turned down for the beta. I'm not sure.
Again, the gameplay was fun. Although Theed really seems like it would benefit from 10 more players. The outside section feels really empty.

This beta is a mess. Codes were booked and the pro support is nonexistent. I get that this is a beta, but being a month out from launch is worrying.

BF1 does not look bad now with the HDR patch. It looks absolutely incredible on a B7 OLED.
You mean to say there's no traditional kill death ratio? If so, then fucking finally. Team-based games suffer from people obsessing over getting a good k&d over everything else.

Something is SERIOUSLY wrong with the IQ on the PS4 Pro. This does not look like a 1080p game, especially with the exceptionally gratuitous use of chromatic aberration and film grain.

Sure, if you like CA. Trees and stuff look like blurry ass now and it looked much better without it.
