Wat makes 3p so much better than 1p?
You can cheese behind the wall, without the person knowing.

Literally every weapon from Battlefront '15, including the DLC weapons felt better then the weapons in this beta.
Really hope they can improve the shooting, because as you said, it SUCKS.
Not liking this one at all. Feels very slow and sluggish.
Man, I've tried to get into this game a couple times this week and I just can't. Didn't care for the gunplay in the original, and I don't care for it here. This is definitely going to be a rent now, so I can run through the campaign.
A shame. I REALLY wanted to like it.
i like the part where you don't hear proper english because ... why is that again?Starting up the game. Intro movie plays... hey, man the music is still great, this doesn't look half bad ... "Hi playaz!" *Skip*

Beta is now open to all.
Huh? What platforms?
Edit: doesn't seem clear in OP, but I see PS4 codes mentioned so I must assume PS4 has it as well...
Tearing through Rey as a specialist, all bow down to the EE-4
I really don't like the scanline effect going on with the text and UI. Makes me feel like my resolution is messed up.

When does the BETA finish?
Anyone else getting wavy scanlines on PS4 Pro 4k on the menus? Is that intentional? The loot boxes looked fuzzy. Wonder if beta build does that.,
Yes. Looks better in 1080. Not optimized whatsoever?
The 9th I believe
That doesn't leave much time to play, for me to decide if to cancel my pre-order or not.
Anyone else have horrible pop in on a Pro?
It was enough time for me to cancel mine.
Maybe I havent given it enough time but really feels more like Call of Duty then the first Battlefront to me anyhow.
Also not loving their loot crate system as with all games I will never buy a loot crate but the ones I "earn" I have the absolute worst luck getting something I am after.
Really feels like someone can throw a decent chunk of money at the game to start, get some decent luck at loot crates with some of the better Star Cards and start the game ahead of most other people.
My concern is that if you don't get this game from the start it will be very difficult to get into later on :/
Weapon hit feedback and visual cues are weaker than the original making gunplay feel significantly less exciting and satisfying. The bizarre damage output, thin blaster fire, and messy tiered coloured health bars and active cool down give combat an dull chip-damage RPG feel rather than the clean, simple action based combat of the original.
Classes are a nice touch but seem heavily underutilised and erratic in coherency, like they only exist to categorise drip feed upgrades and gear. There doesn't appear to be any sensibility or reward to why certain classes have certain powers, which admittedly is typical of any multiplayer early days.
Pick-a-hero-and-survive concept is shit. In classic kill-streak like trend the better players are immediately rewarded with higher tier/power characters that last as long as they can hold them. Accruing points is easy enough but it's basically a race to the most interesting stuff.
Map design is a combination of predictably terrible and surprisingly dull. Low and behold the fucking dogshit awful bottlenecks are back in full force because apparently that's the only way DICE can design a Star Wars game. Despite 40 players the map feels unusually empty and quiet until it gets to the garbage choke point final stage. The blend of objectives feels incoherent and unsatisfying, like it's weighed for a far better experience to the attacking team than anyone else and is unable to stick to a long term focus, making the map a drag.
Battlefront was an interesting game for me, because I adored the beta, cementing my purchase of the full game and season pass. I ended up being bitterly disappointed in a number of poorly directed and designed decisions throughout the entire package, namely some outright awful map design and the stupid balance breaking gear added in the expansions. And I felt there were little things here and there that weren't properly envisioned or thought out. But as a whole, issues aside, I wound up putting 260 hours into the multiplayer.
I've only just wet my feet with Battlefront II but in all honesty I don't really want to play any more. I'm not sure what DICE has done here but that immediate hook of the original's beta has been completely eroded into an experience that to me feels inherently scattered and unfocused, one that can't even get the elegant simplicity of the original's movement and combat right. I don't even like just running around and shooting shit, the basics of which exactly what kept me returning to Battlefront.
It feels weirdly stilted yet messy. What is this.

Helps me setup my t.v. to know.
Thanks!

I agree with that if your on the fence better get it at launch.
But then again most game with loot or progression if you fall very fall behind it isnt fun catching up.
