For you.
I just don't understand how you can enjoy Friday the 13th. Yay I'm slaughtering teenagers! The livestream of people playing it was so awkward.

Not that hard to understand, outsmarting people is fun. Same for the survivor side, working together to escape a common enemy is great. Dead by Daylight is great playing in both sides, and Friday the 13th will probably be similar.

I guess. The theme just seems icky to me.

Got charged again for the Monthly Humble Bundle overnight after unsubscribing. Nice business plan. They got a tersely worded email demanding a refund with a promise of a chargeback if they don't.

Anyone here playing D:OS2? I played the first and I enjoyed the customization and battle variety a hell of a lot but any impressions on the new writers in the alpha, cause I was miserably uninterested in the writing of the first.

I've played about 30 minutes thanks to Anno who kindly gifted me a copy. I liked the writing here, though I may not be the best benchmark for that, since I also enjoyed the first one. Feels more serious than the original, and I liked the options that I got as the Red Prince.

These short upcoming game notes I actually enjoy quite a bit.
Wow! I think this is the first time I've seen "OVERWHELMINGLY NEGATIVE" on a AAA title.
I knew what it was gonna be without clicking, haha.

These posts of you I enjoy. Feel like Quantum Break is gonna become a good success now. Especially with almost halfed price after only a couple months.

Man, I really hope Mafia 3 not having review copies before launch isn't a bad sign. The last two games I've preordered have been disappointments, so I need a win, dammit.

I am shocked Silver Case wasn't mentioned in the OP

also kinda expected a BF1 and Titanfall 2 mention tbh :p

12k for Stein's Gate seems low to me. People have been begging for it to come to Steam for years. It was priced properly too. I find it hard to believe a few port issues completely killed the sales potential of one of the best visual novels ever.

Holy shit this month is packed with games, didn't even notice it, I thought Civ and Mafia were the only big games this month.

Can the codes from the new Twitch Prime membership be activated by other people? If so does anyone want any of them? I don't play any of the games.

I don't understand all these bullet hells with schoolgirls
When Crimzon Clover dominates the zero-schoolgirl bullet hell genre, how else can other bullet hells compete?

yeah I don't fully understand either, but I know it has to do with money and that it's been a trend for over a decade. Crimzon Clover was partially a response to that trend iirc.

Completely stoked for Oct.

Interested in Civ as well, but my dance card will likely be full for a while with the titles above.

I don't understand all these bullet hell games, period. They seem to be the only thing anyone's interested in developing anymore. I'd like to see some new classic-style shmups, where your "ship's" not some two-pixel hitbox with a picture of a schoolgirl on top, and you're quickly dodging fire rather than carefully maneuvering your "ship" through a screen-filling maze of slowly moving particles.

Watched the Warcraft movie. That was.... Disappointing

Coming at it as a non-WoW player who only knows about the game from listening to friends who play, I enjoyed it. I mean, it wasn't anything earthshaking, but it was a pretty decent swords-and-sorcery movie. Like a B-movie fantasy flick with an AAA budget.

Pretty good selection of games coming in October, but I don't think I have anything I'd like to play.

I'll get Masquerada after I'm done with Victor Vran, maybe that's all.

Ok so last thread locked five minutes after I posted this, time to repost I guess:

So, noticed Witcher 3 is on sale for $27 as part of Valve's "Please remember Steam Hardware, please. Anyone?" Sale. I probably will pick it up since I intend to get all three of the games, but I must ask:

Are playing the first two sitting in my backlog for ages now (Like seriously, before TW3 even came out) a necessity before jumping in?

Going by sales number, most people who played The Witcher 3 didn't play the other games. You're good to go.
