Strange lines of dialogue in games

Pokemon Black and White, as well as their sequels, had lots of innuendos in their Ferris Wheel scenes that could throw you for a loop.

Out of all of them, this one takes the cake.

Whew… It’s so hot and humid in here… Shouldn’t have worn this apron!
Ugh, the sweat’s making my shirt cling to me… Hey, eyes on the scenery, okay?
Argh… I’m all sticky and sweaty now…

Hrmm… this isn’t really a thing you should ride in summer, huh.
Hm? Are you okay, Black? Your face looks as red as a Pansear!
Hey, I would’ve been fine with you taking off your shirt, too.
It’s not really embarrassing when we’re both guys, y’know?

Gun Hazard is a side-scrolling shooter featuring mechas in a war-torn future. It's a spinoff of the Front Mission series which is a tactical RPG series.

This message is heard in-game at the end of the credits. It is sampled from a real-life phone call by a member of a UK neo-nazi organization, Combat 18. No one really knows why it's in the game as it's totally out of the blue.

If I had to guess, I'd say maybe it's a weeeeird symbolic way to show that there is still evil in the world despite you having stopped a war.

Game was so terrible but I loved it.

I also really liked that last part and made sure to try marrying all the characters there.
The one I would've actually chosen was the one that was already engaged and sheesh they put up a bigger fight for her than the king and queen put up if you tried to marry them...

Of course not, it was just a semi-joke way of saying, "Yeah, that's pretty much one of my favorite weird lines of dialogue ever." Have a sense of humor, man.
 
"I am the milkman, my milk is delicious"
"Although I often smell of excrement, I should not be discriminated against as I provide a valuable service."

That game is so full of quirky dialogue and awesome quotes, it really is worth a playthrough.
 
For the life of me I can't remember the name of the game but I believe it was a conversation between 2 little girl characters in the kitchen of a house and the topic of blood pressure came up while talking about food, then all of a sudden they burst into a little ditty that went something like this:

Little girl one: もしも高血圧になったなら～♪
Little girl two: 朝から焼肉食べられるかな～♪

Rough translation:
Little girl one: If I were to get high blood pressure~
Little girl two: You might be able to eat grilled meat all day long~

Then they just carried on chatting normally as though nothing had happened... Just bizarre, is what it was.

Reading it doesn't do it justice, so I recorded my poor impersonation of 2 little Japanese girls singing it. It was a lot cuter than what I'm capable of, but anyway it sounded something like this: https://clyp.it/mjnom4fk

Helicopter flying right in front of Frank. Frank keeps looking at it without a blink.
"Oh my god... is that... is that a helicopter?"

Also I was playing some Alan Wake last night. That game has not aged well. There's a decent story behind it, but damn... the lack of facial animations combined with some of the silly dialogue is just too much.

A bit late, but this one actually does have an explanation. It's a joke. Maybe not a great one, but basically Error lives here, and there's another guy, Bagu, who lives elsewhere. Bagu is basically the way you would pronounce Bug in Japanese, but the translators probably didn't catch the joke since it's not particularly funny.

I don't think I originally found this out from this site, but Legends of Localization is fantastic if you're ever interested in how strange lines of dialogue come to be.
 
"The right thing, what is it? I wonder, if you do the right thing, does it really make everyone happy?"

That is some sociopathic-sounding reasoning there. Was this ever explained?

Most of the milkman's dialogue is procedurally generated iirc, which makes it even more weird and random.

Yeah, I'm fully aware of C18 and the rest hence I was rather taken aback by those lines, which is why I enquired. Not the thing you usually hear in games at all, it has my curiosity well and truly piqued.

Thanks for the explanation, I did read the wiki before asking which was of little help.

Eh... Aeris is a LOT easier to say than... Eh-Ritt... Or however you're supposed to say it. Is it an Amerikaner thing to insist on throwing THs everywhere? How are you supposed to pronounce that with a straight face. Eh-Ritt sounds really ugly compared to the more elegant and civilized sounding Aeris. Maybe it's just from me not being a native English speaker.

Maximillian suddenly referring to himself in plural during the last chapter of Valkyria Chronicles.

It's not dialogue but this line from the goat herding minigame in Twilight Princess always makes me laugh:

What makes it even better is that it's probably an in-joke that refers back to "Shine Get!" from Super Mario Sunshine.
