there are a lot of misconceptions being spread about my man Meteos in this thread. Contrary to what many people here seem to claim, he is not a virgin - in fact, he is a highly successful E-sport athlete with razor-sharp wit and a 6+ figures income who has a huge following of thirsty fan-girls and/or boys and is getting laid every night. You know you can lookup how much professional players actually make right? Meteos is sitting at ~$122k in winnings... over 4 years of pro play, or about $30k a year. Judging by his Twitch numbers comparable to others who have released their earnings, he's making maybe $75k-$125k a year from his channel at the absolute high end.
He's not 'making millions'. He's making in the low six figures, at most. More than likely he isn't breaking $100k a year. Only like the top 25 players in the world across all pro gaming 'make millions' and that's across dozens of tournaments and multiple years (and, fun fact, they're all DOTA 2 players). Meteos isn't even top 300.

Plus the amount C9 pay him and the required salary Riot pay him. He's probably making mid hundred thousands. According to a former player/coach called Scarra the other day, the average player is being payed $100,000 or a bit more from this split onwards. Meteos is an above average player as his team constantly ranks top 3 NA.
LoL players don't make their cash through tournament earnings, they earn it through the salary by their teams/sponsorships which is something not seen in DotA as they only rely on tournament winnings. Plus from next year I'd expect tournament winnings to go up quite a bit as Riot this year finally added a mini-compendium like DotA has although this year they only added 1 skin and 1 ward skin. That 1 skin alone added a couple of million to the prize fund. And only 25% of what was made from that 1 skin was added to the prize fund. Imagine if they did multiple skins.

I wonder where he's getting $100k in salary from, because Riot's split is only $25k a year and most teams don't pay salary so much as they cover all travel and living expenses.
The biggest portion of LOL player's earnings are actually from streaming, which is why I included/focused on that.
Outside sponsorships are generally not that lucrative money-wise, outside of rare exceptions. Cloud9's Kingston sponsorship is only about $1k per player - plus, obviously, a whole bunch of free shit.
But sure, he's still not making anywhere in the ballpark of millions. He's still making low six figures (maybe $250k a year), it just goes a lot further than you'd think because all of his bills are paid and he's getting a ton of free equipment/gear on top of that. And that's being one of the top players on one of the top teams. Almost every other pro player is making less than that.

You can want to get pussy or dick (or both) and still view the owner of said genitals as a full human being with value, autonomy, and rights.
Should one include a disclaimer before any statement about wanting to get laid?
