Yeah I didn't cancel. I actually realized that the delivery address is my old one so I emailed them with an updated address as well as informing them of my disappointment because I had planned out my work schedule to be able to host a party with friends on release day.

This seems specific to Amazon. At our Best Buy, we've had our CEs since Tuesday. Hell, we got them in before the regular copies.

That only happened with Amazon.co.uk orders in that specific instance. Orders for the Arkham Knight CE with Amazon.com had no delays or cancellations and I got mine on release day. They even threw up more CEs to order a few days prior to release because people thought it was getting delayed/cancelled and so canned their orders when it wasn't the case. lol

Not sure whats going on with SFV but sounds like those contacting Amazon are telling them its arriving on launch anyway and the emails are a mistake?

Yeah it's a little suspect that Amazon is the only retailer mentioning delay for all copies and since other gaffers contacted their support and were told everything is fine, maybe folks are jumping the gun a little? lol Same thing happened with Batman: AK.

FYI Amazon still lists both versions to preorder for Tuesday release.

I ordered the standard edition on February 8 and got the email but it still says arriving on Tuesday. Maybe this really affects people who ordered very recently and they sent out a mass email?

Anyway, it's still worth waiting a couple days to save $13, in my opinion.

I got $15 out of them by complaining about Digimon. That brings my total down to like $70 shipped for the SFV CE. Hard to cancel with that discount. I want to complain again but I heard you can get black listed from Amazon if you do it too much

Best Buy CE shipped a few days ago for me, already waiting at my local post office for Tuesday.

It's a bummer to hear this keeps happening with Amazon. Shifted 95% of my orders from them to Best Buy after my Bravely Default CE was smashed to hell and they only refunded $5 for it.

In the last year, I have noticed Amazon just get worse and worse and worse. They fuck up my orders constantly and nothing arrives on time (weeks later), most recently Gravity Rush.

A friend of mine who pays for Prime says maybe 25% of his packages actually arrive the next day.
