At least my last match was hype. Ryu mirror. Dude knocks me down and tries to bag me with a fully charged V trigger hadoken on wake-up. Mistimes slightly, I pull off my Super at the last second as the fireball passes through me. Death for him.

long range fireballs are useless and just feed v-trigger, footsie range poking fireballs feel too scary when a punish will take 1/3 hp

Playing as Ryu and have only played against Ryu's, 4 in a row so far. It's funny how they're all so terrified and up backing all the time lol. I just walk them into the corner and practice parries. Which I'm failing at but it's fun to test stuff since I don't find these guys to be much of a threat. Still undefeated since the beta came back last Friday or whenever. Would be nice to play someone around my skill level instead of only playing newbies constantly.

Was going to mention I got in about thirty minutes ago...but I had too much fun playing the game. I vastly prefer playing as Ryu in this game, feels more third strike like (my favorite in the series).

Got about eight matches, I had a blast!
