Capcom reps said they're considering Steamworks functionality. They've also been generally quiet on cross-platform invites, which will likely require a whole other system to be implemented.

I wouldn't bet on it TBH. To be quite frank, PC ports are always a shot in the dark and it's clear PS4 is the lead platform in their long term SFV strategy. I don't look at that platform as being reliable for new releases.

I agree completely and that is certainly something that would push me towards PS4. My friends that will play this game will be on PS4, if it'll be easier to interact with them if I am on PS4 that is the way I will go.

It is disabled. You need external equipment to stream.

I did the pre-order/cancellation trick to get a code from Amazon which I've pre-loaded but I've also been selected for the EU beta. Before I give the code away to a friend - do we know if the server matchmaking will be local or worldwide? If it means I'll get more local, lag-free matches I'll probably uninstalls the U.S. version and keep the EU code for myself

@TheComboFiend you're gonna need some external hardware to stream it. Share function won't be available.

This beta is strictly for testing netcode/servers. They're gonna have more down the line and those will probably have player matches/location testing

I signed up in the EU web but didn't receive the code, but finally got my US code from Amazon.com from Spain using a normal Spanish account with Spanish billing info + Spanish debit card after talking with a couple of customer support guys -the first one told me they'll send the code by mail once the beta starts- through the Amazon CS live chat to ask them for the code.

To download the beta client I had to create an US PSN account because the Spanish PSN didn't accept the code, but once it started to download I switched to my main Spanish account to continue the download and play when available.
